The company services brands including Viking, U-Line, Marvel, Lynx, Zephyr, Blomberg, Beko, Scotsman, Speed Queen, and Aga across Texas and several other states. Its website states more than 20 years of experience with those and additional lines such as AGA, Bertazzoni, Bosch, and Thermador. The business lists itself as a manufacturer-preferred servicer for Viking and Speed Queen products.

Technicians named Greg Cravens, William, Geo, Marquel, and Melody handled these jobs in the reviews. Some calls involved warranty work on new units where parts were replaced or adjustments made after factory assembly issues. Other visits addressed faulty timers, ice makers, and grill components after prior attempts by other companies failed.

Reviewers note appointment windows that sometimes shifted with short notice and techs who sent text updates on arrival times. Service calls carried a 160 dollar trip charge plus 175 dollar hourly labor in one case, with total bills reaching several hundred dollars including parts. The company operates in the Dallas area and handles warranty service for multiple brands. Some appointments were set quickly while others faced delays or cancellations.

What Customers Say

“Lakeview appliance service is terrible. Thy have made 4 trips to try to fix a range that we told them what was wrong and they still got it wrong. Had to order new parts - meaning eight parts 3 times. Then they schedule us for 10am. Then move our apt to 1pm and now to 3-5pm. No care what their constant changing schedule does to a client schedule trying to accommodate them. Can not recommend this company. Find anyone else to perform service.”

Samuel Rogers

“Wow - excellent service call. We called Lakeview Appliance to service our Viking Double Cafe Oven. First, they got us an appointment promptly which is always refreshing. But the service technician they sent, Greg Cravens, was outstanding. He kept us apprised of when in the service window he would arrive and was right on time (pulled up at 11:58 after texting he’d be at our home at noon). He was professional, knowledgeable and neat. And a super nice guy. We couldn’t have asked for better service.”

Ginny Lederman

“Purchased new AGA Elise stove and the storage drawer needed rails replaced (newly installed so under warranty). Was contacted by Lakeview and scheduled for a 2-5pm block on a Thursday. The tech (William) texted me around noon and politely asked if it was ok if he came by early. When he arrived, he went right to work and after fixing the rails and adjusting the drawer, it still did not close properly and he patiently worked on the issue until he diagnosed that the drawer was not properly assembled from the factory; an issue that had not been noticed by the installation team. After fixing the assembly issue and readjusting the drawer to our satisfaction, William asked if we had any other questions and when we explained that we were having some challenges understanding how the different bays of the ovens worked, he took time to read through the owners manual with us and explain more about the stove than anyone else had to date. He was both patient and knowlegeable which resulted in a much higher level of appreciation for our new appliance. Thanks William!!”

“Highly recommend them! I had warranty work done on a Coyote grill and flat top grill. Scheduling was easy. William , the service technician was very nice and professional. He solved all the issues and answered all my questions.”

“Service Tech "William" showed up early, which I much appreciated. He replaced a faulty timer on my dryer, which is under warrant, and was out of there in no time. Great service company and great service technician. Hope I don't need to use them again, but if I do I feel confident they will fix the problem.”

“First off don’t buy Viking products. Made that mistake. Lakeview charges 160.00 trip charge and 175.00 hour labor for a 51.29 blade repair. Total 390.01 that was 11/11/24 they came out 10/29/24 to look at wine cooler 160.00 so in three weeks 550.01 This is a continuous problem with Viking products. We just purchased a Viking refrigerator 6 months ago 13,000.00 and already had to call them out for repair. My suggestion is stay away from Viking and find someone else besides Lakeview.”

Brenda Kromka

“This company was called for Thor warranty service. They scheduled quickly. Showed up in the given time frame, giving a 20- minute heads up before arriving. Identified and Took care of the issue quickly and efficiently. Very courteous and communicative technician. Left my kitchen spotless. Appreciate the service!”

Julie Jones

“Had them come repair my Viking refrigerator. Worked fine until 10 days after the 90 day warranty was up. Second guy came out (for second service call and fee), told me I shouldn't fix it. Would have been nice to know before I paid them in full the first time. Never again.”

Colin Pero

“I have scheduled lake view several time. First time it took several trips to get the work done to an acceptable level. Second time I made an appointment it was scheduled for a week out, day before I was messaged saying they needed to reschedule. I was told it would be nearly another week. When I complained about the wait I was told that the manager had said they would be ok to make it. The day of the service, today, I was called and told the tech called out so they would need to reschedule again. For a high end appliance company this is pretty poor service.”

Jason Maguire

“I have a Speed Queen dryer under warranty, two other repairmen had worked on this dryer and had not repaired it. After reading Lakeviews reviews I was dreading a last ditch effort for warranty service. William Matthais came out, checked it over, ordered the parts came back earlier than scheduled appointment to repair. Dryer is working great and I am very pleased with their work.”

Sandra Huff

“WOW is all I can say about this company. DO NOT use this place for anything. Came out to repair Viking Dishwasher firs time under warranty and everything was fine and completed professionally. Less than a year later stops working again so called and was told on the phone part was still under warranty but needed to pay for service charge. OK since part was under warranty sounded ok. 141 dollars tech comes out tells me part is NOT under warranty and leaves after I advised him no, not what I was told but he did not care just pay up. He did not touch dishwasher just wanted his money and left. I don't even know if it was a different part. Called to talk to Manager and was advised we get payed regardless even if he doesn't touch anything. False information given and no service equals 141 dollars. Absolutely unbelievable. Should have read the reviews before hand as you can see this place should not be in business with customer service like this.”

Steve Molnar

“Called to service under warranty a Speed Queen dryer, and then again for washer on 2 separate occasions. Geo is a very nice guy, efficient and knowledgeable Technician. Very happy with the service!”

Debra Harris

“I would never use Lakeview Appliance. They only have a 90 warranty on parts and service. They do not care about their customers, and the service technician did not fix my ice maker on my Viking refrigerator after $1,400 worth of work and three trips out. They did not care that he was not experienced enough and did not do the job even after talking to a supervisor. This is dishonest and I would not recommend this company ever.”

“Service Call 1 - (refrigerator) they provided a 4-hour window, and called in the last 15 minutes to let them know it would be later. Service Call 2 - (dishwasher) they provided a 4-hour window, and I called at 1:00 to see if they could provide a better timeframe - they simply said it would be within the 4-hour window (1:00-4:00). At 1:26, they texted me to let me know he would be late. Well, our timeframe is 1:00-4:00, so they already knew he would be late and didn't let me know when I called but hid behind a text message. I'll reply back here to let you knew when he arrives and/or when I receive another message. As in other reviews, being late seems to be a business model with this company.”

“I had a very good experience with Lakeview Appliance Repair. There was a mix up on my initial attempt to get a technician to my house to look at my Smeg oven, and Melody expressed concern on the confusion and made sure the the next appointment was confirmed. Marquel, the service technician, was awesome. He took his time to diagnose the problem and he thoroughly explained the solution as well as all of my options. All around it was good service and a good experience, I would definitely use them again.”

Xavier Spencer

“So Lakeview is the only company in the DFW area that will do warranty work on a Viking refrigerator. The parts were covered under the Viking warranty, however labor was not. There was a $1,500 flat rate charged and the technician completed the job from arrival to departure in 4 hours. A beautiful $375 per hr job. I will say Viking does stand behind the flat rate charge as well so I can't completely fault Lakeview for pricing gouging on their own behalf. The Viking appliances came with the house we purchased and we will not be choosing Viking or Lakeview Appliance in the future. Definitely a deep state conspiracy. lol”

“STAY FAR AWAY !! --------------------------- Lakeview Applicance is by far the worst service company I have encountered. I called their number more than once to request a status of possible delivery date for parts and the lady was extremely rude and condescending. I was informed twice that someone in parts would contact me but they never bothered. I now have a new 2500 dollar U-Line ice maker sitting in my garage with power and water but unable to make a single ice cube. So here is a shout out U-Line for making ice makers that don't work :-( I think anyone using this company for U-Line repairs should be prepared to wait a least 5 weeks. The combination of these two companies seems to be a toxic mix.”

James Blessing

“Stay away...far away! Received a follow-up call to schedule service and when I told them their charges were too high just to show up, she hung up on me. They charge astronomical trip charge and labor charge (total $400 + parts) to repair a $25 hinge on a refrigerator.”

Paul Heath

“service guy was not helpful. nice but is not going out of his way for sure. willing to do the minimum.”

“Horrible customer service! We’ve been waiting for service on our brand new Thor for over two months. We’ve been rescheduled twice. On the day of our scheduled service, they called at the time of our appointment and cancelled. Almost two weeks later, we can’t get them to answer the phone or return our call. Our contractor has called multiple times too without any response from this company.”
