“I have an older GE refrigerator that was struggling to keep my food cold. Luckily I found Marathon Appliance Repair! Jon was extremely friendly and helpful and made sure to go over the step by step process involved with rehabbing an old refrigerator. Our freezer is back to being ice cold and I plan to call Marathon again for repair our washing machine as it could also use some TLC. Great local business, thank you again for your help.”

“Great service! My first interaction was with Mona Lisa on the phone and she is an absolute treasure! So engaging and understanding and just a joy to speak with. Jon is the owner and he came out and quickly diagnosed our dishwasher. He was able to replace the hose and remedy the leak I caused from pulling it out. Our shut off wasn’t working so we were having to keep the water main off for the whole house. I was so grateful that he did that for us! The part came in quickly and two days later he had us up and running. He went even farther and ordered clips to help stabilize the dishwasher to keep our grandchildren safe. Jon gave good tips and was very easy to talk with and help me understand the issue. I highly recommend Marathon Appliance!”

“I normally do not post negative reviews but I’m so upset about how I was just treated by, John, the owner of Marathon, I have to post this. I actually kicked him out of my house within one minute of him arriving which I NEVER have done for a service person before. I needed our dryer repaired because heating element was no longer working. My husband had removed the front cover of the dryer to replace the thermal fuse to see if that would fix the problem. When it did not, we called marathon to come out for a diagnostic call. We figured leaving the cover off would be no problem and allow for easy access. John arrived, wasn’t particularly warm on the onset (seemed annoyed or stressed). As I led him to the laundry room, I acknowledged that the dryer was partially disassembled. Which honestly was a stretch because it was literally just the front cover off, no parts were undone. He immediately says “Uh, well that’s a problem. I can’t fix a dryer I can’t diagnose.” When I paused for clarity, he goes on to say (in an excessively rude and condescending tone) “I mean I’ll try because I’m going to charge you the service fee anyway, but you really should have mentioned that in your scheduling”

“My entire experience with Marathon EXCEPTIONAL! From my initial contact and clear communication with Mona Lisa, to Jon's great repair of our front-load LG washing machine, everything was top notch. Mona Lisa made sure I understood the terms of service, and contacted Jon to see if they could squeeze me in-and he was able to come the same day - actually within an hour and a half. (Now I know not everyone will be so fortunate, but our address aligned with his schedule.) There was clear transparency on the cost of repair, and he had the part with him. He doesn't use aftermarket parts unless the OEM part is no longer available - not all appliance repair companies make that commitment. Further, after the repair was complete, Jon wanted to review best practices for maintenance to extend the life of our machine. No other repair company has ever done that. Use Marathon for your appliance repair needs - you won't be disappointed!”

“Our Bosch double oven electrical panel was frozen, so I called to schedule. Mona Lisa was so kind and thorough - and gracious when she asked whether I’d manually reset the breaker to it (yes, I can admit I didn’t know this - if the breaker switch wasn’t flipped it could still be the issue). Sure enough, that flip of the switch to off and back on did the trick, and she saved me the service call next week. I would absolutely use Marathon for future needs, approaching customers with such honesty as this. Very grateful for working ovens without the unnecessary expense!”
