What Customers Say

“Called to schedule a repair call and spoke to Gaona himself. We scheduled an appointment to which he did not show up for. Called that afternoon, no call back. Called again the following morning and the employee who answered said Gaona said he called me the morning of the appointment and I didn't answer. I told her I had no missed calls from him or any other person that morning. Checked my phone records, nothing, not even a voicemail. She said she would have him call me back and no call. Sent my business to Strawberry Appliance in Pasadena instead. Great service from Strawberry Appliance. Call them instead of wasting time with Gaona.”

“I called and spoke to the owner Jose Gaona at this company because I was having an issue with my Whirlpool Gold refrigerator, which I have owned for over 15 years. The refrigerator was freezing at the bottom while the top section was staying at room temperature. I called specifically to ask whether they repair or sell refrigerators, and I was told yes. I was also told that a technician could come out for a $55 service/diagnostic fee. During the conversation, I explained that I had already been advised by another technician to unplug the refrigerator for three days, leave the door open, and then plug it back in. I had already done this before, and this time I was looking for someone to actually investigate the underlying problem rather than simply repeat the same advice and charge me another service fee. When I questioned whether the refrigerator could be checked further—particularly the back of the unit and what might actually be causing the problem—the conversation became unnecessarily heated. I was spoken to in an aggressive and dismissive manner and was even made to feel as though the problem was my fault because I supposedly had not followed the previous technician's instruct”
