“I’ve used KJ multiple times and have always had a great experience. They are honest, respectful, and take the time to explain everything in detail so you understand what’s going on. They’ve been able to fix my appliance issues for me and their work is reliable. I highly recommend them”

“Avoid this company at all costs for appliance repair. He was at a rental house to fix a small issue with a cut wire . He said it would cost $200 and I agreed on the phone. I was hiking and away from my phone so I missed his calls after and didn’t pay him for a few hours. We agreed to a Zelle payment but I didn’t know that the payment had to be done so urgently because people normally invoice me and I pay after the job is done maybe end of day or next day even! He refused to leave the tenants house and sat in the kitchen, after an hour he cut the wire he had fixed and also removed the valve from the dishwasher (that was existing) so we can’t connect the water hoses back on now. If that’s not poor business practice I don’t know what is. I have had rental properties around Austin for 15 years and I have never not paid a contractor for a job agreed on. Being away from my phone for a few hours now means I have to reorder the valve that’s not in stock, besides repair the original problem! Stay away from these kind of people. Peter will talk nice but he’s far from nice! I’ve never dealt with this kind of terrible business practices before”

“We had a wonderful experience with KJ. We arranged for an inspection of our washer. They arrived promptly with a heads up text after we had agreed on a window of a couple hours the day before. They diagnosed the problem in about 15'. They had the part in the truck and fixed it up in no time. They ran it for awhile and checked that it was working fine. They left the work area clean. It has been about a month since the service. Our washer has been working great since. It's about 8 years old so it's good to know we can get more good years out of it. The cost was under $200. We couldn't be happier.”

“UPDATE: washer still great, now my dryer went down. Came within 24 hours fixed in less than an hour. Explained everything clear again and communicated the whole time. This is my guy! Fair pricing. His card his on my fridge from now on. Saved the day! Called Saturday afternoon to fix my non-functioning washing machine. Set me up for Monday and showed up within the time window and was done in less than an hour. Most of that was me moving (he offered to do it) the machine back into the wash room and then also having to let it run through cycles for testing. Top notch communication and very friendly. Also, very reasonable pricing. Will use again on any appliances needing repair.”

“If I could give a zero star review of this company I would. I called them to fix my dishwasher and after inspecting it told me there was nothing wrong with my dishwasher, it was an electrical issue. He said he didn't replace any of the wires, he just tightened them and my dishwasher started working again. He charged us over 180.00 for this "repair" and he didn't replace or do much of anything. The next day after he left we noticed they did not screw the dishwasher back in from when they pulled it out. When I called to have them come fix it, he said this was a "new" problem so I had to make an appointment. When they came (2 days later) he screwed it in, crooked and with a metal piece sticking out which was not there before. My husband argued with them while at our house to fix it further and they refused. When I spoke with them on the phone they refused to come back out. I would never hire this company again. I would never recommend them either. They charge very expensive prices for not actually fixing anything, and now I'm stuck with a crooked dishwasher with a metal piece sticking out.”

Had to send claim to another service provider, which found they left a connector disconnected inside, and didn't order enough parts to cover the problem.”
