SmartFix Services Appliance Repair&Dryer Vent Line Cleaning

SmartFix Services handles appliance repair and dryer vent line cleaning as a family-owned operation based in Pflugerville. They cover the Austin metro area including Georgetown with calls or texts for same-day availability. Amal leads the work on refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, cooktops, stoves, ranges, double ovens, freezers, and ice makers along with vent cleaning. A diagnostic visit runs ninety-five dollars with repairs quoted separately and a ninety-day warranty on the work.

Customers call for dryers that stop heating or have filter problems that snag clothes. Amal shows up with parts ready, fixes the heating element, adjusts the filter to fit properly, and cleans out the housing. Refrigerators with leaks get the lines cleared and the compressor area wiped down. Stoves with gas smells get checked and repaired on the spot while dishwashers receive overnight parts and same-day completion. Vent jobs include video proof of blockages cleared from start to finish. Reviewers note Amal and his assistants like Dimitri handle multiple appliances in one visit without extra upsells.

They respond quickly to calls, confirm schedules by text, and keep customers updated on part orders. Pricing stays clear before any work begins with some veterans discounts applied. Service stays within the Austin metro and Georgetown zones. Appointments often happen the same day or next day with honest explanations of options and no pressure to replace parts that can be fixed instead.

“Prompt, professional, and fair. Able to quickly diagnose and offer honest solutions with fair pricing. Worked on my garage refrigerator and cleaned my 25 foot dryer vents.”

“So impressed with the service! They did an amazing job repairing my dryer—quick, clean, and very professional. They took the time to explain what was wrong and fixed it without any hassle. I would definitely call them again and recommend them to anyone.”

“I just had to write an additional review. I had a problem with my dryer filter. It was protruding about .75 inch from the housing. Clothes and sheets were catching on it. It ripped a few shirts! I called Amal. Instead of replacing the whole thing, he worked on the filter to get it to fit. Now it is like new. He also took apart the housing and cleaned it out. I recently had the ducts cleaned but lint was getting trapped because the filter did not fit. So instead of having to pay for a new filter and housing, he fixed the old one. Cheaper for me and better for the planet. I can't say enough good things about him. You can see the before and after. These guys are great. They do everything they can to get to you ASAP and fix everything, cleaning up after themselves. My front loading washer started pouring water all over the floor and it just kept coming. Amal sent one of his crew, they found the problem, fixed it, and now I washing the towels I used to hold back the water. The maintenance people at my complex had to empty the big shop vac four times to clear up the water. Amal"s guy replaced a valve and now all is good with dehumidifiers and fans going for the next few days.”

“My refrigerator was giving me issues so I called Amal, who I had used previously for dryer repair, and he came out the same day. He determined the problem, quoted me the cost and explained other options. I agreed to the repairs and within a couple of hours, the refrigerator was fixed and working perfectly. Amal is very professional and courteous. He gave me a discount and even did a couple of additional things to make the refrigerator run smoother for no extra charge. I highly recommend his services and feel his prices are reasonable.”

“The SmartFix team was quick and reliable. They had to order a part for my dryer, and Amal communicated with me, in the meantime, to let me know the order status. That was very nice. Then when they came and installed it, they were really quick and now the dryer works like new.”
