NIETO WOOD DESIGN

Nieto Wood Design handles cabinet work out of Baytown, Texas. Joe runs the outfit with his wife Naomi and they focus on custom cabinetry along with designer closets and commercial jobs across the Baytown and Houston area. They build vanities, pantries, laundry room setups, home bars, built-in shelving, dressers, and master closet systems. Customers bring rough ideas or sketches and the crew turns them into finished pieces using 3D models for review before any cutting starts.

Reviewers describe jobs that fixed tight storage in bathrooms and kitchens or turned unused wall space into working closets and bars. One customer needed extra pantry room plus a niche for cups and got both with clean results. Another wanted a custom vanity that fit an odd spot and received slow-close hardware plus a solid finish. Teams handled laundry room remodels, guest bathroom cabinets, and even a memorial engraving project on short notice. Joe’s crew often added practical suggestions that improved the original plan without extra cost or delay.

Work moves at a steady pace with clear back-and-forth from start to finish. Reviewers note fast replies on designs and updates, plus visits to measure and show finish samples on site. Jobs reach from Mont Belvieu into Houston and stay local to the Baytown base. Customers say the crew stays professional on the job, wraps finished pieces for transport, and coordinates with other trades like granite installers when needed. Pricing stays straightforward and the team sticks to the agreed scope.

“If you’re looking for craftsmanship, precision, and a team that actually listens, Nieto Wood is it. They designed and built a custom master closet for me, and the entire experience exceeded expectations. From the initial consultation to final installation, they were professional, detail-oriented, and intentional about maximizing both functionality and aesthetics. Every inch of space was thoughtfully planned, and the finish work is clean, seamless, and high-quality. The layout feels tailored, not templated. Storage is practical but still elevated, and the materials and hardware feel durable and refined. You can tell they take pride in their work. If you want a custom closet that’s built to last and designed with purpose, Nieto Wood delivers. Highly recommend.”

“Nieto Wood Design did an OUTSTANDING job on our custom dresser. Joe was very helpful and professional from start to finish on our project. We provided Nieto Wood Design with very rough sketches and pictures of how we wanted the dresser and they took it and ran with it. They provided a 3D model of the design before construction and asked for our feedback before the construction. A very crucial step which was made effortless with Joe. He took our comments, got it just they way we wanted to include the type of handles we wanted. His wife was also very instrumental in helping my wife choose a color. I picked up the dresser and it was nicely wrapped and ready for transportation which was an added bonus. We could not be happier with the final product. I highly recommend Nieto Wood Design for any wood project you may have. Thanks again Joe!”

“Based on his positive reviews, decided to use Joe to build our Custom Home Bar in a relatively small space. I had drawn a decent sketch with dimensions but his software gave out a 3D view which was even better! Final result was breathtaking. He also had a Quartz person which fit my budget and made the work easier I'm sure for him. 5 stars plus easily!”

“Excellent service!! They were able to take care of me lightning fast. My kitchen looks amazing now!! Thank you so much!!!”

“We found Joe by accident, and man are we glad we did. After deciding to replace our outdated bathroom vanities, we drove all over Houston trying to find the perfect fit and finish. Ironically the answer was right under our noses here in Mont Belvieu. Joe came out and measured and then came back with several samples of finishes making sure to get it exactly how we wanted. When he brought us the finished vanities, we were floored at how well they were built and the finish was flawless. They fit perfectly in our space and even had unexpected features making them all the more useful. Joe was also able to communicate with the granite installer. By far, the best contractor experience I’ve had here in Baytown/Mont Belvieu. Thanks Joe!”

“Wonderful bathroom remodel! We love our new bathroom. Joe Nieto and his team are fair, honest and very easy to work with. Very professional and hard working. The work on the cabinets, vanity and shower tile are top notch. Every little detail was given special attention. We also love the custom built inset mirror /medicine cabinet that gives even more storage. We would definitely use Joe Nieto for any future projects. Highly recommended.”
