Olive Branch Woodworking

Olive Branch Woodworking handles cabinet work out of Chattanooga. Leslie runs the shop and takes on custom cabinets along with kitchens, bathrooms, closets, pantries, built-ins, and furniture refinishing. The business also builds custom pieces like tables and bookcases, plus refinishing for older items. They operate from a local workshop and list a phone number for direct contact.

Customers bring projects such as vanities and cabinets when other builders could not match the ideas. Some needed record storage units built to exact specs after a workshop visit, while others wanted bookcases for living rooms or vanities that stood out from store versions. Reviews mention walnut dining tables, sideboard cabinets, kitchen setups for a tiny home, copied finials for a bench, repairs on a 100 year old chair, butcher block tops and cutting boards, plus a column fix on an old mansion. Several note the pieces fit the space and held up well in daily use.

Leslie returns calls when others do not and meets people at the shop to go over designs and options. He adjusts plans to stay inside budgets and keeps prices reasonable across jobs. The work covers the Chattanooga area, with people driving from nearby spots like Jasper for custom orders. Reviewers point out clear communication during the build and solid results on both new builds and repairs.

“Coming from a different state to make our forever custom home here in Tennessee was a wonderful challenge in itself! Finding one of the areas most respected custom home builders was our #1 and only goal to make our dream a reality! The builder we chose was having a rough time understanding what exactly my wife was looking for on some of her ideas for her custom vanities, cabinets and countertops so she saught out on her own in search or someone who could! Low and behold she came upon a small quaint up and coming custom cabinet shop in the middle of Chattanooga named Olive Branch and it caught her eye! We made the drive from the top of the rock in Jasper Tennessee to humor her curiosity with high hopes she had finally found the place that could bring her ideas to reality! Boy oh boy did she ever!! Not only did we walk into the most pristine, clean, tidy, welcoming little up to date, friendly work shop but the quality of service not only the owner gave us but his employees as well! Leslie went out of his way to LISTEN to my wife’s vision and offered his own professional opinion to help her all the way through this very important process to her dream home! Leslie my friends kno”

“Leslie is a true craftsman. He takes pride in his work and is very easy to collaborate with. Highly recommend him.”

“Leslie is truly a master! I came to him with a very specific need for record storage and not much idea of design. He invited me out to his workshop to talk and look at options and when I came to pick it up, it was like he literally plucked it out of my mind. The attention to detail is crazy, and it is so obvious that Leslie and his team are incredibly passionate about their work. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a better piece of furniture”

“Leslie and his team really brought the vision to life in helping us restore our 100 year old home. They are an incredibly talented team and deliver the highest quality, custom, handcrafted cabinetry. I look forward to working with them again for future projects.”

“I needed a custom vanity for my bathroom and they gave me exactly what I wanted and more. It is absolutely stunning. The quality difference when comparing to premade is night and day. This was my first experience with custom woodwork, and Leslie was very kind and helpful! Can’t recommend them enough. Will use them again for future projects.”

“Leslie and his team made our dreams come true for a custom bookcase in our living room. They were wonderful to work with from the design process through completion. Can’t recommend them enough! We will use them again in the future.”

“Our dream build started in March 2024 and as we progressed along with our tiny home. It was time to have our custom cabinets and furniture made. Finding Olive Branch Woodworking and working with there team was very rewarding. Leslie was super cool with helping us with the cost to keep it within our budget. And the craftsmanship was extremely impressive and would highly recommend your next project to have them build yours.”

“Leslie and his team did an outstanding job helping me with a project to build a walnut dining room table. As an architect, I have worked with many woodworkers around the country and appreciate the quality of Leslie’s team’s work. But, more Importantly, they genuinely care about success of their customer’s projects.”

“Leslie Langhart made a four cabinet sideboard table for our home and it turned out spectacularly. We are so proud of this piece of furniture. We know that it will last long into the future. We recommend his excellence and work to the entire region. Well done for excellent work Leslie.”

“Highly recommend Olive Branch! They make the most beautiful cabinets and their workmanship is high quality. I look forward to having them custom make all my cabinets in future renovations!”

“Leslie, asked me how did I find his company, I told him I had left 5 voice mail to other shops around Chattanooga, Leslie's was the only one who returned my message . I needed a Finial Made for a bench, that was a full size bed frame. The original Finials were damaged in a move, so I was desperate to get them replaced before leaving for Scotland. 8 weeks later I was able to go pickup my order OMG I was impressed carbon Copies from the original Finial. Knowing how hard it is to replace a Finial,I ordered 8 total. I'm impressed. Looking at his website, I see he also does refinishing of furniture,I will be calling him again in the New Year, for several family antique items. This is not a AI scam review, I'm a retired person here in Tennessee Jimmy .”

“My family is in awe of how our kitchen turned out. Leslie designed it, gave us great suggestions, and built everything perfectly!! If you are looking at other places for custom kitchen cabinets, I would recommend asking them..."who is making my cabinets?", or "where are my cabinets being made?", or "can the person making my cabinets meet with me and give me ideas?" Leslie does all those things, and makes it all here in Chattanooga in his shop. Lastly, Leslie is a great wood worker, artist, and contractor, but I think what you will take away from your project is that he is just as good of a person as he is all those other things.”

“Wow! Leslie and his crew continue to amaze me. They supplied some cabinets for a kitchen remodeling project a couple of years ago, and we continue to be pleased with them. Recently I called and asked if they would take a shot at repairing a 100 year old chair that was my grandmother’s. The chair is not “fine” furniture, but has value to our family. They accepted the project and did a fantastic job at a very reasonable price. I hope it will last another 100 years of daily use at my daughter’s home with 3 kids. The price is always fair and reasonable with these folks. You could not ask for nicer, more skilled people to work with. Chattanooga is blessed to have this “jewell” of a shop here locally. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Rick Rushworth”

“I had a piece of butcher block left over and they crafted two cutting boards for me. The workmanship is next level. Everything they did is just perfect. The corners, the edges, the beveled sides to be able to lift the board from the countertop are just exquisite in craftsmanship. They planed, sanded, and oiled the boards for me so I can put them straight to use. I will be using them again.”

“Leslie and his team are rockstars! They flourish in the details and treat your home and project with the greatest care. If you desire the finest quality and craftsmanship, get Olive Branch for your next project.”

“Amazing experience working with Leslie. He listened to our overall concepts and design ideas, took in our home interiors and applied his own artistic insight to create our lovely bookcases! A house is made a home with this artistry!”
