Baxter Cabinets

Baxter Cabinets handles cabinet work out of Fort Mill. Brad and Ashley Harris run the family-owned operation that covers Fort Mill, Rock Hill, Lake Wylie, and the greater Charlotte area. They design and install semi-custom and custom cabinets for kitchens and bathrooms. Customers visit the Fort Mill showroom to pick finishes and see options in person, then the company handles the rest through its Rock Hill distribution center.

Reviewers describe full kitchen replacements, bathroom cabinet projects, laundry room builds, and whole-home remodels. Kristine helped with material choices and backsplash ideas on several jobs. Noah, Robbie, and Christian handled installs that stayed square and aligned. Adam walked clients through estimates and changes on a kitchen update that replaced old 1980s units. Other projects added custom shoe drawers and hanging racks, with the finished cabinets drawing compliments for fit and look.

The company responds the next business day when fixes come up, such as damage from another trade. Install crews arrive on schedule, work one day on many jobs, and check in during the process. Owners Brad and Ashley stop by during measurements and keep in touch with contractors on bigger remodels. Pricing comes in as a good value compared to other bids, and the team sticks to timelines without extra delays. Service stays local to the listed towns.

“We recently worked with Baxter on 3 separate rooms. The team was incredible to work with. The finished product was high quality, came on time, and we’ve already gotten endless compliments. They even worked with us to incorporate a few wish list items such as a custom shoe drawer and laundry hanging rack. We’ll be saving their number for future projects!”

“Baxter is an exceptional company to work with for cabinetry. We used Baxter for our kitchen and master bath renovation. Kristine was super helpful in assisting us with the selection of our materials. She even offered to help with backsplash and slab selections. The installers: Noah, Robbie, and Christian were super polite and professional. They took their time to ensure everything was aligned and square and did a beautiful job. There was a minor mishap with the countertop installation (different company) damaging the cabinets. We called Baxter and they came out the next business day and fixed the cabinets. The owner Brad, stopped by the house multiple times during the measurement and installation process. I could not be happier with my cabinets and the service I received from Baxter. Highly recommend. #BaxterCabinets,#KristineHoltz,#BestInstallers”

“We did an entire kitchen and laundry room remodel. Baxter Cabinets was our supplier for all of out cabinetry. Kristine was our designer and she was fantastic. I'm happy to say, everything fit perfect and the outcome is exactly as we wanted. They were very prompt to respond to our questions and anytime we needed a cabinet adjusted, they were quick to come out and make the correction. I will be using them when we do future remodels in our home!”

“Baxter helped us replace some kitchen cabinets that were originally from the 80s. I was worried it was going to be painful, but their team is the best and made it super easy for us. From start to finish Adam helped us with the estimate, planning, selection and little details. He was incredibly patient with us as we changed our minds several times. Robbie and Noah arrived at our house and completed the install all in one day. They were very respectful and checked in with us regularly. We love the work the team did and we hope to use them again in the future!”

“We had an incredible experience with Baxter Cabinets for our extensive whole-home remodel! From our initial meeting at the showroom to the final day of installation, the entire process was seamless and stress-free. Ashley and Brad run an exceptional business, and their team is top-notch. Ashley was fantastic at keeping our budget in mind, offering guidance every step of the way without compromising on design. The communication was outstanding throughout, and the final product is stunning—our new cabinets are absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommend Baxter Cabinets to anyone; we would work with them again in a heartbeat!”

“We loved Baxter Cabinets from the moment we stepped into the showroom. We were very excited to work with a family owned business. Dee, our kitchen designer, was the one who really sealed the deal for us. She listened to our kitchen needs and was thorough , thoughtful and detailed oriented. The installers, Robbie and Noah, were friendly and professional. We are very pleased.”

“I highly recommend Baxter Cabinets. Kristine and their entire team were amazing to work with. They showed up when they said they would and finished on time without any issues. They responded quickly to any questions we had. We are so pleased with our new kitchen!”

“Baxter Cabinets is FANTASTIC! From the first consultation with Kristine, to the installation process, to the finished products...everything went smoothly and came out beautifully. Baxter Cabinets did our kitchen cabinets, all of our bathroom cabinets, and more small projects throughout our new build. The ladies do a great job at working with you on design options and I wouldn't go anywhere else for cabinets.”

“We are thrilled with our experience at Baxter Cabinets. Kristine, our designer, patiently answered all of our questions and worked with us to create a dream kitchen for our family. She communicated and coordinated with our home remodeling contractor to ensure the whole design and install process ran smoothly. Baxter cabinets delivered a beautiful final product in a timely fashion, and we felt like it was a great value. Baxter cabinets always did what they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it. We highly recommend Baxter cabinets!”

“Amazing experience with Baxter Cabinets! We were lucky enough to work with the owners Ashley and Brad directly on a large remodel at our home. We are in love with our cherry kitchen cabinets; we love how they fit in with our midcentury modern design and it was a bonus that they were made locally in North Carolina, which cut down on lead time. We get so many compliments! We also selected reeded bathroom vanities with built-in organizers for our primary bathroom. Ashley and Brad worked seamlessly with our contractor and interior designer - they provided regular updates and transparent pricing. Can’t say enough good things - highly recommend.”

“Baxter Cabinets…that’s where I ended up, after ripping out our entire kitchen by hand in the house that we inherited, 5 years and two babies later. My husband and I found mice in the kitchen, and that was the last straw for me. I drove to the closest cabinet company, which happened to be Baxter, and I was welcomed with open arms and so much care for our situation. Heather and Brad went over my kitchen layout, which was absolutely unrealistic and cramped with DIY counters and the tiniest work surfaces, and they gave me hope. I thought having a *real* kitchen was far out of our means, until Brad and Heather so kindly explained that their work is not only reasonably priced, but also guaranteed for quality. They then set me up with their in house designer, Dee, who knocked our expectations out of the WATER with her incredibly precise skill and instinct for the seemingly impossible project that we presented her. She was the epitome of professionalism through all of the planning and design, even when we were blind to the possibility of having a custom kitchen in our home. The team came in promptly and within a very short time, our kitchen cabinets were installed perfectly. Our kitchen wa”

“Ashley and Baxter Cabinets were great throughout the whole process. We had just started to redecorate our home when we realized the kitchen needed a major overhaul. Wendy, our designer, called in Ashley and Baxter Cabinets and within a few days we had a redesign with much better flow and a ton more cabinet space. I'm also glad we took a little extra time to order the cabinets from Canada. The solid wood cabinets look great and will last a long long time. And to top it all off, the two young guys who installed the cabinets did a fantastic job. 5 stars for Baxter Cabinets from beginning to end.”

“Kristine Holtz at Baxter Cabinets is amazing!! From our first consultation to our final result, she was patient, informative, and engaging. And our cabinets are absolutely beautiful!! The installation teams were courteous and professional. We will definitely work with Baxter Cabinets again in the future!!”

“There are not enough words! My husband and I had a vision for our 1999 kitchen and a sketch on a piece of notebook paper when we met Elizabeth at Baxter. She took that paper and created the kitchen of my dreams! Her suggestions for just the right upgrades, storage and design - all while keeping my budget and style top of mind- made all the difference! Her commitment to our relationship went far beyond customer service and her beautiful attitude, patience and attention to every detail has led to this beautiful space I absolutely love. This was a major renovation and she hung in there from New Year's to Mother's Day and I couldn't wait for her to see our teamwork finally come to life. Trust matters when you're undertaking such an expensive investment - Baxter is the partner you can trust. The whole team worked to make sure we would be so proud of our new kitchen and that the process would be as painless as possible. We cannot say enough about our friends at Baxter's!”

“In short, EXCELLENT!!!! Here's why. My son's kitchen was 50 years old. It needed a complete remodel. After careful measuring, I put out a bid request to 12 different cabinet companies found on the internet. Baxter cabinets came in as the least expensive. Sometimes that can be concerning; however, I selected Baxter's products after careful consideration. I am so glad that I did. I spoke with the owner, Brad Harris, about my needs. He took my calls, sometimes even when it wasn't convenient for him to do so. His bid was COMPLETE!!!! (all the necessary trim, filler, kick plates, etc.) His internet sales rep, Kristine Holtz, was also professional. I couldn't be happier with their service. If you'll stay with me, I'll dive deeper. The cabinets themselves exceeded my expectations. All ply boxes (good plywood also), GREAT soft close hardware, easy instructions, high-quality doors and frames, etc. They are VERY NICE. Kristine and Brad helped me select the proper pieces for this kitchen (SEE PICS), and delivered the materials in less than a week after I placed the order. But, here's the mark of superior customer service. I was in the middle of the project when I realized that ”

“Great experience! We had a laundry room redone. Everything came in ahead of schedule and installation was perfect and professional! Wonderful to have Baxter Cabinets close by in Fort Mill!!”

“I had a great experience at Baxter Cabinets! Julie was my contact person for my bathroom(s) renovation project. She spent a great deal of time with me on the project making sure I got the very specific look I wanted for both areas. It took me a great deal of time to make my selections and she was so helpful and very patient with me. I did get to know several others with Baxter Cabinets and they were great as well!!! I would definitely use this company for future projects.”

“Baxter set themselves apart from the other cabinet providers by becoming a partner in the design process and giving thoughtful advice with regards to layouts, colors, and overall functionality. The designer, Dee was amazing, very responsive and with her expertise in cabinet design she made sure we got the result we were hoping for! Regarding the craftsmanship, even our flooring contractor was very complimentary of the end result and we could not be happier with the work! Great job Baxter!”

“Baxter is doing it right! This company is absolutely crushing the RTA game right now. I just finished a complete DIY home with Baxter RTAs in our kitchen, laundry, pantry and two bathroom vanities, and it was a breeze! From start to finish Baxter was on it. I even received a phone call from the owner when I expressed some small concerns over a slight technical issue with payment. The design process with my representative Kristine was very pleasant, with quick responses and detailed answers to all of my questions. If you are thinking about doing RTAs look no further!! They will beat the big names in both customer service and price!”

“Baxter Cabinets, and specifically Ashley, was AMAZING to work with for our new kitchen. This is our second time using Baxter Cabinets (the first time was through our contractor) and they are so easy to work with from planning, to design to installation. Highly recommend!”
