“We hired Custom Features to build a TV unit/bookcase and a faux hearth for my parents’ new (not so) tiny home and are very satisfied with all aspects of the project. Working with April Gilmore, who oversaw the project, was a delight. She was a proactive communicator, responsive to any and all questions and concerns, and regularly checked in on the project in person while the units were being installed. It was an unusual design in a 45 deg corner; they were patient as we worked out the details over a few drafts. The price was very reasonable. The workmanship was excellent. My dad was so impressed with the raw product that he almost skipped having it painted! We did experience a random mishap (a rack holding the glass doors during painting collapsed, breaking the glass on some of them). The replacement doors were built and back to the glass fitter by end of next day. They couldn’t have been more responsive, professional, or apologetic, about the unexpected delay. We also have to complement the various crews who came for measurements or install. My mother appreciated that every single one was polite, kind, and showed every respect to her and her home. Very professional, has a wonderful staff to help you complete our design. With everyone so busy in Charolette, they take the time to make sure everything is correct before proceeding.
