NextGen Design Build

NextGen Design Build handles cabinet work along with kitchen and bath renovations from their base in Fort Mill. Vlad and Alla run the operation and manage projects that include full kitchen remodels, bathroom updates, interior renovations, and showroom selections for materials like tile and fixtures. The business lists service across Indian Land, Fort Mill, Waxhaw, Marvin, Wesley Chapel, and Matthews, with hours set at weekdays from nine to five and weekends by appointment only. They maintain a licensed and insured status along with BBB accreditation.

Homeowners describe kitchen jobs that cover design through demolition, new cabinets, countertops, appliances, and floor repairs, all finished on schedule with strong attention to detail. Bathroom renovations often involve zero-entry showers and complete updates where the crew kept daily disruption low even with kids at home. Living room and office projects receive the same treatment, including hardwood refinishing, painting, and custom storage built to match existing spaces. Reviewers note that Vlad and Alla, along with Andrew and Haven, stayed involved from the first meeting through final walkthroughs, handling code updates in older homes without added pressure on budgets.

Work proceeds with clear timelines shared upfront so everyone knows who arrives and what gets done each day. Communication stays prompt on questions or changes, and crews cover floors and furniture to avoid damage while cleaning up at the end of every shift. Pricing comes across as reasonable in the reviews, with unexpected issues resolved without stretching the original schedule. The showroom lets clients pick tile, grout, and other items in one visit, and the team serves the listed towns around Fort Mill without expanding beyond those spots.

“We couldn’t be happier with our complete primary bathroom renovation! From start to finish, the entire process went smoothly, and the project was completed on time. Communication was excellent throughout the renovation, and we were always kept informed every step of the way. The finished bathroom is absolutely fabulous and turned out even better than we could have hoped for! We are thrilled with the results and would highly recommend NextGen to anyone considering a a home renovation/remodel. “We worked with the team at NextGen to renovate our master bathroom, and couldn’t be happier with the results! From the very beginning we had a clear understanding of each stage of the design and renovation process. Vlad and Alla helped our vision come to life and helped us confidently make all design and construction decisions. We were provided with a detailed timeline and Vlad ensured his team stuck to that timeline. We have two little kids at home and the renovation didn’t disrupt their day to day schedule whatsoever, and Vlad and his team couldn’t have been kinder to them. 10/10 recommend working with NextGen. We plan to do so again in the future!”

“We couldn’t be happier with the amazing work done on our living room renovation! From start to finish, the entire team was professional, hardworking, and paid incredible attention to detail. The craftsmanship is beautiful, and they truly brought our vision to life! One thing that really stood out to us was how clean and organized they kept everything throughout the entire process. Renovations can be messy, but the crews were so respectful of our home and made sure everything was cleaned up at the end of each day. That made such a difference! The finished room looks absolutely fabulous, and we are beyond pleased with the results. We are so thankful for all the hard work that went into transforming our space. “We had an exceptional experience with NextGen Design Build on our kitchen renovation. From the outset, Vlad and Alla demonstrated professionalism, strong design insight, and a clear command of the construction process. Our home was built in the 1990s, and they were highly knowledgeable about the updates required to bring systems up to current code. Our renovation was a significant investment, and we were intentional about how we allocated resources. The team worked collaboratively with us, respected our priorities, and supported thoughtful material selections without unnecessary pressure. They operate with the capability of a high-end firm while remaining practical and client-focused. One of the most impressive aspects of the process was the level of organization. Prior to construction, we were provided with a structured schedule outlining the sequencing of trades and inspections by day, each week. The project progressed largely according to plan, communication was proactive, and adjustments (rarely needed) were handled professionally. In several instances, progress was ahead of schedule. We found their coordination across trades and overall project oversight to be a true diffe”

“Thank you NextGen design, we are absolutely thrilled with our new kitchen! you took our vision and made it better than we imagined. We were very lucky to find Vlad and Alla. Can't praise you enough for your quality, meticulous work and attention to detail. He's got a great team of skilled subcontractors who share his high standards. They were also incredibly respectful of our home. We highly recommend them for their professionalism and craft!.”

“NextGen Design and Build was great to work with on our bathroom remodel. They helped us pick out all the tile for the floor, shower walls, shower floor and grout right there in their showroom. Makes life easier to pick things out there. They provided us with a detailed schedule from start to finish. We always knew when someone was coming and what they would be doing. All the contractors were great. Very friendly, they did great work and cleaned up after themselves every day. They either swept or vacuumed daily. Prompt response on any questions. NextGen took great care to cover the hardwood floors, furniture and vanity to help ensure things didn’t get scratched. On final cleaning day, they vacuumed all the floors, dusted the furniture, cleaned the mirrors, cleaned the cabinets and mopped the floors. I would highly recommend them. We would not hesitate to use them again. Group text was setup to make communication between us easier. We can’t say enough good things about them. Audrey and David Y”

“Our experience with NextGen was nothing short of incredible. In today's world, it is rare to find a company that not only has strong values but consistently lives by them. NextGen puts integrity, family, quality, and relationships at the forefront of every aspect of the customer experience. For our project, we completed a full kitchen remodel and layout redesign, new flooring throughout, interior painting, and a stair remodel. Given the significant investment we were making in our home, we were naturally nervous about selecting the right contractor. From our very first meeting with Vlad and Alla, they immediately put us at ease and gave us confidence that we had made the right decision. Their vision, professionalism, and attention to even the smallest details were evident from the start. They were transparent and realistic about expectations and developed a project schedule that was accurate down to the day. Vlad provided a detailed construction schedule a month before work began, outlining weekly and daily activities. They delivered on that schedule every single day—something that is increasingly rare today. I could go on and on about the benefits of working with NextGen, but ”

“The NextGen team met deadlines and completed tasks thoroughly, maintained professionalism and communicated clearly and promptly. The NextGen team was impressive, responsive, proactive and skilled. You can tell they run their business like a family business and the trades they employ respect and appreciate them on every level. They were truly a dream company to work for in every way. We have recommended them to all of our friends and neighbors and we would not hesitate to use them on our next renovation or recommend them to anyone who asked. We love our new bathrooms and kitchen update so much that we even had them update the back grill area with a perfectly picked out piece of granite to add a new pizza oven to our backyard in the near future. We met the design team of NextGen Design at the 2025 Charlotte Spring Home and Garden Show when we were first deciding on our next home renovation. We then went to their diverse and organized design showroom to pick out what we wanted for our two new secondary bathrooms and kitchen glow-up. The design consultant, Haven, was very helpful while picking out the features and style we wanted in both bathrooms and the materials in our new kitchen ”

“Our kitchen remodel is not quite finished yet but I can't wait to share how excited we are. We love how beautiful everything is coming along. What my husband and I love best about Vlad is his communication and responsiveness. He is well organized with his schedule so you know who is coming and what is getting done that day. He is always ready to answer and take care of any concerns or questions. His work is top notch!!”

“Next Gen did a very good job with our house remodel that included a complete kitchen remodel, hardwood installation and refinishing, renovation of all bathrooms, creating a new bedroom and bathroom in an unfinished attic and painting the house. Whenever an issue arose they promptly resolved it. We enjoyed working with them and ultimately chose them to also help renovate my parents house which was recently completed and turned out very well.”

“I am thrilled with the entire Next Gen Design and Build team. They did a seamless, complete remodel job on my kitchen. They are five star all the way around. It starts with the 3 D digital renderings and expert design sense that helped me visualize and plan the project. They completed the project in a timely manner and always maintained a clean and orderly job site. The quality of materials are top notch. All of their subcontractors were excellent and on schedule. My kitchen is a beautiful dream transformed into reality. It does take a team. Vlad and Alla have organized a high quality team and support and manage it well. Any time I had questions they were addressed immediately. I also appreciated their integrity and care. I highly recommend next gem design and build, and we'll use them for future projects. “We had a great experience with Nextgen. They renovated our kitchen and redid the flooring throughout our downstairs, and we’re very happy with how everything turned out. Haven and Alla were especially helpful in guiding us through the design process. They did a great job helping us choose design features that matched our inspiration while also advising us on what would look best in the space. Vlad was super communicative, friendly, and professional throughout the entire project. He kept us informed every step of the way and made sure we knew exactly what was happening and when. The team was also very punctual, and even with additional framing work that had to be done in part of our kitchen, the project was still finished on schedule. All of the contractors they brought in were friendly, professional, and easy to work with. Overall, the process felt organized and well-managed, and the finished result looks great. We highly recommend Nextgen Design and Build!”

“Vlad and Alla are the best out there to bring your dream design to life. They will help you choose right product, and have amazing people to get it installed. I couldn't be any happier with the kitchen and laundry cabinets I got. This is the company you can trust!”

“We were so happy with our remodel from NextGen. We hired them for a kitchen remodel. Their pricing was reasonable, and the work was completed perfectly on schedule. When unexpected issues popped up, they were able to handle them without disrupting or extending the project. I would be happy to hire them for other projects.”

“I have wanted to update my kitchen for years! I met with numerous contractors but finally found NextGen! I knew right away from their attention to detail and construction knowledge that this was the right contractor to help me. The kitchen is done and I still feel that I picked the right contractor. The workmanship is incredible and the communication was on point. If you are looking for a company to trust and help you through the process this is it! I am not only loving my new kitchen but I feel NextGen made the process as easy as possible.”

“We had a master BR renovation with zero entry shower so that we can age in our house! Next Gen came in on budget and on time, which was a big ask! Great job and we are so happy with the results!”

“NextGen just completed an office remodel for us and we could not be more pleased. In 2023 they did a full home renovation for us with outstanding results. The only room untouched was the office. So a year later we taxed Vlad and Alla with our loose office vision. Although they are known for their kitchens and baths they jumped right in to create and execute this room. We needed it to work as an office, with additional storage and glass display cabinets. We wanted it modern, moody and elegant. After in depth consultation they came to us with a workable plan. From development, to ordering, to preparation, to execution in a timely manner NextGen did not disappoint. There were no surprises. Vlad’s team showed up and completed their jobs with precision and respect for our home. A special thank you to Alla for her hard work to find materials that fit our vision and needs. She offered ideas initially out of our comfort zone and we are so pleased we went with her design vision. The office has become one of the most used rooms in our home. We highly recommend NextGen. They are professional, reliable and provide a quality execution of the job from start to finish. They say what they can do a”

“Vlad and his team are hands down the best I've ever worked with. Vlad's attention to detail and ability to reconcile all of my changes, upgrades and high expectations is impressive. Our renovation was extensive including a new roof, new electrical, new plumbing, new kitchen, remodel of 2 bathrooms and an addition of a master bath, refinished floors, paint, doors, deck and so much more. I am confident there is no job too big or too small that Vlad couldn't handle.”

“One of the many challenges when moving away from home was finding trusted contractors. My dad’s a general contractor - I didn’t realize how spoiled I was having access to his network. We had such a great experience working with NextGen Design & Build Inc.!! Everyone on their team and subcontractor teams were great to work with. Vlad shared a project plan up front. From day 1 I knew what was happening and was able to communicate throughout the process. Thank you, NextGen Design & Build :)”
