“I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately this was one of the worst contractor experiences I've had. We hired Bert to build custom cabinets and paid 50% up front. The cabinets were originally scheduled to be delivered on May 1. As that date approached, I stayed in regular communication with him, only to eventually learn that the cabinets had not even been started. After weeks of delays and repeated promises of completion dates that came and went, the cabinets were finally delivered on May 22. Unfortunately, they were not what we had discussed or expected. Several custom features we specifically talked about were missing, including cabinets to the ceiling, a spice drawer, and larger storage areas. There were also multiple design choices that resulted in deep, difficult-to-use spaces and wasted storage. In addition, there were gaps, uneven areas, and quality issues throughout the installation. To Bert's credit, he did rebuild one cabinet and eventually returned to add some of the trim work we had originally discussed. However, when our appliances arrived, several of the cabinet openings had been built to the wrong dimensions and the appliances would not fit. Bert acknowle”

“Bert is a life saver. As a teacher, I needed a custom made bookshelf. I called Bert and he came to the rescue. From one day to the next, Bert called me with the exact bookcase that I had asked for. The dimensions were exact. It fit perfectly in the space that I needed it to be in. Thank you Bert. I will not hesitate to call you again.”
