Settler Construction

Settler Construction runs cabinet and construction work from Lubbock, Texas. The family owned company started in 1974 and Brad Settler now carries it forward after years alongside his father and grandfather. They handle residential and commercial jobs that include cabinetry, handyman repairs, painting, roofing, carpentry, and remodeling. Their approach covers both big rebuilds and small fixes under the line that one call gets it all done.

Customers call them for custom cabinets that fit new double ovens into an existing kitchen layout, with Greg checking every measurement so the pieces line up. They have turned half a garage into a sewing room with built in desks and shelves so the space no longer looks like a garage at all. Roofing crews located hidden damage another outfit missed, matched vent pipes to shingles, and finished with a clean yard and no loose nails. One project rebuilt a fire damaged house after working directly with the insurance company to cover the full scope. Office remodels and year round handyman calls also show up often.

They keep clients informed at each step and walk through choices on materials and pricing so the owner decides. Estimates come back thorough and crews answer questions on site, including during insurance assessments. Work stays in West Texas and the crew treats the job like it belongs to the homeowner. Brad and Greg both show up on these projects and stay until the details match what was agreed.

Reviews give the company a 4.3 rating on Google. Common notes cover solid craftsmanship, fair costs, insurance help, and crews that act like family while finishing the work. A few mention problems with unfinished jobs or rough communication.

“Best Company Hands Down!!! They do handyman services for me year round, fast and great. They remodeled my Fire Damaged Home, my home was completely ruined. Settler Construction worked with my insurance company and got us the most out of the money to rebuild my home back. Our home is immaculate and we are so grateful to Settler Construction, they really treat you like family!”

“Settler Construction is Awesome, Excellent Craftsmanship, Responsible. They make your dreams for your projects come true. They work with you on everything, they talk to you and let you choose every option from material, costs and pricing. I highly recommend this company.”

“Settler's did a custom cabinet for us and the work was excellent. We were replacing double ovens but needed the new and much larger cabinet to blend with our somewhat eclectic kitchen ( he was even able to cut down the upper cabinet above the ovens, so they blended seamlessly). Greg was awesome, he was not going to install the ovens so had to make sure that the the dimensions were perfect. Great company (and the price was very reasonable). Thank you Settler, I would definitely use for future projects.”

“Settler Construction did an excellent job roofing my house. Mr. Settler was thorough in his replacement estimation, finding damage to the roof which another company had missed that would have created other problematic situations in the future. The edge around the roof was improved so that water will not easily collect, causing damage. The pipes on the roof match the shingle color which make a big difference. Any damage on the roof was completed successfully with no loss of time. The construction crew wasted no time on the job. When finished, they left the yard neat with no nails or debris to be found. Mr. Settler answered any questions and was also helpful with my insurance assessor. His office staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I know I can depend on them if needed, in the future.”

“Settler Construction converted half of my garage into a sewing room. I love the results beautiful cabinets, built in desk, lots of shelves etc. you would never know it was once a garage. It was like working with family. Everyone was friendly, courteous and checked frequently to be sure it was what I wanted.”

“I'm a disabled woman that lives alone. I was apprehensive about having someone in my home. They were very professional and made me comfortable with their work, by keeping me well informed and even walking me through the process. I could not be happier. Thank you Greg for being patient with me. Sincerely Ms.Vasquez.”
