The Lake Norman Cabinet Company

The Lake Norman Cabinet Company handles cabinet work from Mooresville. Simon leads design and sales while Florin assists with consultations and Manuel takes on many installs. Their services cover custom cabinets, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, kitchen islands, vanities, all wood cabinets, kitchen design, and cabinet refinishing. They serve Lake Norman, Charlotte, Concord, Mooresville, Cornelius and nearby spots.

Homeowners bring them in for kitchen remodels where Simon and his crew install cabinets that update the whole space. Common jobs include sanding and filling grain on old oak cabinets before painting them white, adding soft close hinges, or building custom range hoods, islands, coffee bars, and entertainment centers. Some projects focus on bathroom vanities or refinishing peeling finishes on existing cabinets without a full tear out. Reviewers note the results hold up well over time.

The company offers free in home consultations and written estimates that aim to beat comparable bids. They push fast production and delivery to hit project timelines. Reviewers say Simon returns calls and texts promptly, explains each step, and stays available for tweaks. Manuel handles installs with careful cuts on trim and molding. Work stays in the Lake Norman and Charlotte regions.

“We remodeled our kitchen, and Simon and his crew installed the cabinets. They were friendly, hardworking, and did a nice job overall. It turned out gorgeous. A few pieces were delivered incorrectly or arrived late, which delayed the process a bit. We still need a couple of small adjustments, and while the quality is good, communication could be improved — getting calls returned has been a challenge.”

“Simon and his team gave us our dream kitchen! From design to finish. Excellent quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail. The photos won’t do it justice. It is just exquisite! We were speechless. Thank you to Simon and his team for making our dream come true.”

“The Lake Norman Cabinet Company did an amazing job on our old kitchen. Service was great, Simon Blue cares about every detail and is great. Love my new kitchen. I highly recommend them.”

“We love how our cabinets turned out. Simon was very personable and explained the process. We have oak cabinets with a ton of grain but wanted them painted white. Simon not only had to sand but also fill the grain and more (see before/after). We also had him put in soft close hinges. The final result is amazing and just what we wanted. We highly recommend and will use again if we decide to redo bathroom cabinets.”

“I bought a 1946 house that still looked like 1946. Simon and Lake Norman Cabinet brought my kitchen into this century. They were easy to work with, answered all my questions and the end result is just beautiful. A year later and I am still very pleased with how it all turned out.”

“Simon did an amazing job on our kitchen cabinets! His attention to detail and workmanship are impeccable. It was awesome how he was able to take the design that I had imagined and make it come to life! I am so happy with our new kitchen and the friendly, professional service from Lake Norman Cabinet Company.”

“The Lake Norman Cabinet Company did an excellent job on my kitchen cabinets. Simon was great to work with and made suggestions for the overall layout that made a huge difference in the final appearance and flow of the kitchen. He custom-made my range hood exactly how I had envisioned. This company exceeded my expectations for our project and I would certainly recommend them to anyone who is considering a remodel. We didn’t originally plan to do new cabinets, but as a last minute decision, Simon came through and met the timeline to allow all other installations originally planned. Manuel handled our installation and is a superb craftsman - we have hired him since to place our old cabinets in another location. A huge thank you to Simon and Manuel and I look forward to working with you on other projects!”

“We were redoing our master bath and wanted a custom cabinet built for the bathroom so after doing some research online I contacted LNCC and talked to Simon who came out and provided us with an amazing design, that had everything we wanted and his attention to detail about the things we hadn't thought about. He built us a beautiful cabinet which is really a centerpiece in our bathroom. While we were working with Simon to design the cabinet we got talking about repainting our kitchen cabinets and he had so many great ideas and very high quality paints that we hired him to do that work as well. I was and still am blown away by how awesome the cabinets look. I cant recommend Simon and LNCC enough. Their attention to detail, amazing customer service and how at ease Simon made us feel throughout the whole process, taking time to explain everything and walk us through the process. Thank you Simon and thank you to your team for the amazing work. You truly are an artist.”

“Outstanding experience! Simon brought our vision to life with his design and attention to every detail. He is pleasant, attentive and available throughout the process. I enjoyed working on custom additions to our space including hood, banquette, and coffee bar. His installer, Manuel, is a true craftsman and meticulous with every cut of trim and molding. Simon and Manuel were flexible throughout the process and able to tweak small details to satisfy our needs. We are thrilled with the high quality of the cabinets and overall end result.”

“My experience with Lake Norman Cabinet was exceptional. From the beginning of the design phase to installation and even after installation, our project received attention to every detail. “My wife and I need to give an enthusiastic shoutout to Simon Bule and his team. When we first contacted Simon and met him at our home, he was very attentive to our vision and design that we had in mind for our fireplace/entertainment center. Our home was lacking adequate shelving and storage, so he came up with a design to make that a reality. He listened and understood our concerns that we had and made us feel confident he was going to not only meet our expectations; but exceed them. His communication with us was outstanding. We understand many of these tradesmen are busy and can't get back right away but Simon and his team have a process in place to make sure your call or text is answered and addressed in a very reasonable amount of time. When it came time to install, Simon and Emanuel took all precautions to treat our home with care and as if it were our home before moving all heavy equipment and tools inside. I can't say it enough; the attention to detail is what makes LNK Company great! If Simon and Emanuel don't like it, they will make it right until it meets their standards! Additionally, we had them install another cabinet to complement our existing kitchen cabinet”

“We could not be happier with our experience with the Lake Norman Cabinet Company! Simon is a joy to work with! He took our vision and brought our dream kitchen to life...including a gorgeous island, custom hood, and coffee/wine bar. His expertise, attention to detail, and professionalism are second to none. Manuel is an incredible craftsman...he’s patient, thorough, and takes pride in his work. We highly recommend The Lake Norman Caninet Company!”

“Perfection!!! I've been searching for years for someone to help me with my kitchen cabinets that had the foil covering that was peeling and looked awful. Simon came in one day, looked at it, recommended removing it and painting them with an appropriate cover and gave me a price. In about 10 days it felt like I had a new kitchen. It is nothing but perfection and didn't require a huge kitchen renovation, which everyone else wanted to sell me. The work is beautiful, the quality and workmanship are obvious, SImon is a class act, and he treats you as if you're his only client. I would recommend him and his family owned business to anyone. My wait was certainly worth finding the best.”

“I've wanted to paint our oak cabinets for years, but was hesitant because I've seen so many painted cabinets that were not the quality I wanted. Absolutely no need to worry with Lake Norman Cabinet Company! Simon was very professional and explained each step in detail. We got exactly the look we wanted at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend!”

“We cannot say enough about the professionalism, craftmanship, and customer service at The Lake Norman Cabinet Company. Florin, Simon and the team are amazing! The experience was top-notch from beginning to end and then some! We had been working with another local cabinet company on a kitchen remodel for months and getting increasingly frustrated with the quality of the customer service and the process. At the last minute, just before signing the contract with this other company--I did a google search to get some additional options. I sent in several requests for more info/quotes. We got a response from Florin almost immediately, and he was here to do a consultation with us within a day. He was knowledgeable and professional and extremely collaborative. He was able to guide us through the process painlessly,. He took the time to go through all of the 3D renderings from every angle so that we knew exactly what we were getting and how it would function. From the design of the kitchen, to the installation, and "finishing touches", every person that we came into contact with through The Lake Norman Cabinet Company went above and beyond. Florin, Simon, and Jason are true profess”

“I had Simon with The Lake Norman Cabinet Company layout and provide shaker cabinets for our kitchen remodel. Simon was very professional, and his crew was meticulous in installing the cabinets and attributes. I highly recommend Simon and The Lake Norman Cabinet Company.”

“We had a wonderful experience with this company. From the very beginning Simon was always communicative and willing to work with us on ideas and prices - which, by the way, you CAN'T beat their pricing! My husband is extremely picky with product quality and was blown away at the quality for the price. We are incredibly happy with the results and won't be going anywhere else when we need new cabinets.”

“Florin was extremely professional and knowledgeable. The outcome was my stunning bookcases custom made. I’m hoping to have an additional project to enjoy his craftsmanship!”

“I would absolutely recommend The Lake Norman Cabinet Company to anyone who is looking for new cabinetry!! Simon is great and takes the time to listen and understand exactly what you are looking for and makes your dreams come true. I would invite anyone to come by and take a look at the wonderful job they did.”
