Sugar Home | Design. Remodel. Paint.

Sugar Home operates out of Prosper, Texas and focuses on cabinet work along with painting, staining and full remodels. Blake runs the crew that builds and installs custom cabinets, converts existing units into pull out drawers, sources and sets quartz countertops, and handles kitchen, laundry room and bathroom jobs. The same team takes on interior and exterior painting plus fence and door staining across North Texas.

Reviewers describe Blake and the crew stepping in to finish a project another contractor left incomplete, designing around an existing antique shelf, sourcing a specific quartz piece and turning a laundry room into a space with new cabinets, a farmhouse sink and fresh counters. Other jobs include converting half baths to full baths, building mud rooms after closet demos, staining front doors and fences to restore their look, and cutting granite plus building stands so appliances could be installed after a delivery crew walked off the job. Brenden, Mike and Joel get named for keeping work clean and methodical on show houses and tight deadline projects.

The crew answers calls and texts promptly, shows up on schedule, keeps the job site tidy and finishes on time without running over the agreed price. Homeowners in the North Texas area note the team works efficiently even when plans change mid job and that they handle both small fixes and larger remodels without extra delays.

The Google rating sits at 4.8 though drawn from zero listed reviews there. Recurring comments center on solid workmanship, clear communication and the ability to deliver clean results on both standard cabinet and painting jobs plus one off projects.

“Sugar Home Painting & Remodeling was a pleasure to work with. The Kips Bay Dallas Show House was a project that required professionals who could deliver not only impeccable craftsmanship but had to meet an extremely tight deadline. They always arrived on time ready to work with a good attitude and work ethic. Brendan and Blake kept great communication with our team throughout the entire project and were able to work in a timely way around any changes or additions we made. Sugar Home was able to step in and save the day for many other designers left in a lurch by their contractors. I would highly recommend the Sugar Home team for your next project. They bring a level of professionalism and courteousness that makes them stand out.”

“Blake and team stained my front door and fence and did a job completely deserving of the 5-Star rating. The door was restored to original look and feel. They did such a nice job on the fence, my neighbor stopped by to inquire. The best way I can describe Blake & team is they know how to do the job correctly, and then they get it done on time with every attention to detail. Half the battle with any trade contractor is knowledge & execution. I am extremely particular, and I’d hire Blake with ZERO hesitation.”

“Courteous, respectful, kind, punctual is Sugar Home. They have done an awesome job with replacing our island countertop, installing crown molding, painting cabinets, island, walls and crown molding. Thank you Sugar Home”

“I can’t say enough good things about Sugar Home. Blake has a great guy for what a space should look like and we loved it. They remodeled our kitchen, laundry room and turned our half bath to a full bath. All three spaces turned out beautiful. You always worry about communication, but Mike and Blake were great. We will be using them again in the next few months to remodel our master bath. Thank you Sugar Home for making my house amazing!”

“I highly recommend Blake and his team with Sugar Home painting. He is currently helping us with some renovations in our home and I am so happy with everything. It’s always so find to hard good quality work that is affordable from someone who is honest and knowledgeable and Blake is just that! He also helped me to envision what everything would look like with renderings of some built in cabinets we’re having put in. It is so nice to see something in front of you that you can’t envision. I couldn’t be happier and we will give them all of the other projects we’re doing as well!”

“Blake and Team did a great job on our laundry room remodel. They built and installed new cabinets, painted them a wonderful blue color that I love. Installed our new farmhouse sink and installed new quartz countertops. I am now in LOVE with my Laundry Room and looking forward to decorating! 100% satisfied!”

“Blake and team saved the day! We were upgrading our gas stove and double ovens on our own with the help of a retail store and the delivery and install day came and the installer could not install our stove or double ovens. The cutout for our stove was less than a 1/4 inch too narrow, and the ovens needed a platform to sit right in its space. The installer left both appliances in their boxes in our kitchen and left. We contacted Blake (Sugar Home) and he sent his team to check it out. They then got us on the schedule quickly and cut our granite and constructed a stand for the ovens and helped us get our kitchen in working order again. We will definitely use them on future projects.”

“Everything about our experience with Sugar Home Painting was 5-star. From the first call to the final walk through, Blake and his team took care of all our needs. The quality of work was the best I have seen in years. We truly enjoyed our experience and highly recommend this company.”

“Blake and his team did a complete kitchen / laundry room remodel for us including painting existing cabinets, new backsplash, counters, and flooring. They also demoed a closet in my laundry room and built a new mud-room. Their crew was extremely clean and respectful of our space, and Blake was quick and easy to communicate with over the phone or via text with any questions or concerns I had! I'd highly recommend SugarHome for your painting/reno needs!”

“We hired Blake to repaint a built in cabinet. It was a difficult job as it has grass cloth wallpaper behind it. Required a lot of attention to detail. Blake and Joel did a great job. The cabinet is beautiful! We’ve since hired him to paint our kitchen cabinets.”

“They restrained my front door and stained my fence! Both look awesome! An excellent company! Highly recommend!”
