Greenshire Handyman (Temporarily Closed)

Greenshire Handyman operated out of Schertz, Texas, with AJ as the main contact for cabinet hardware installation along with electrical fixture installation and general home repairs. The business covered Schertz, Cibolo, Garden Ridge, New Braunfels, and San Antonio until it closed temporarily after the owner accepted a full time job that reduced available time for handyman work. The owner noted plans to reassess part time service later and listed trusted referrals on the site for customers needing immediate help.

Customers described AJ installing dozens of drawer pulls and cabinet knobs across entire homes, replacing rotted posts and deck wood while adding skirts to block animals, hanging televisions and sunshades, fitting baseboards and trim, repairing doors and gates, removing closet shelves, and handling fixture work plus assorted fixes ahead of home sales or after minor fire damage. Reviewers mentioned AJ working with an associate named Chris on some trim and socket repairs and bringing his son Hilo on a deck rebuild.

Reviewers noted AJ answered quote requests quickly, kept in touch throughout, arrived on time, finished jobs the same day when possible, allowed rescheduling, worked without leaving mess, and charged fair amounts for the scope. Service stayed within the listed Texas communities around Schertz and San Antonio, with jobs completed during standard daytime hours based on the appointments described.

All provided reviews gave five stars and repeatedly mentioned punctuality, clean results on cabinet hardware, reasonable pricing, and clear explanations of steps or options.

“AJ did a phenomenal job. Fairly priced, very professional. He was on time, stayed on task, didn’t leave a mess, and was very kind. I would 10/10 recommend. He replaced and painted my door, put up and painted trim around the window, and fixed a board on the house. He also put a cover where the light used to be as I did not want another light put in. All were damaged after a small fire. I’ll include before and after photos.”

“A.J. recommended an associate named Chris and he was fantastic! He took care of our home repairs with the same attention to detail we would have (if we were as handy as he is.) His pricing was really fair. He quoted us at a higher end and looked for ways to save money as he went. We came out well under budget. And he didn’t just tell us what to do—he laid out all the options, explaining the pros and cons so we could make the best choice. Our dog had chewed up the baseboards, around sockets, and door trims when she was a puppy, and you’d never know it now. They look brand new! Plus, Chris was super quick with communication and always kept us updated. When we asked him to check out our sprinkler system, he was upfront about it being outside his expertise and recommended we find a certified professional. He provided a referral to someone he would use himself. We appreciated that he didn’t take on a job just for the sake of it. We’re already planning to hire him again to help transform our backyard garden into a flagstone patio. We’re so happy with his work, and we’ll definitely be calling him for future projects!”
