Every single interaction with Closets by Design was a home run. Maureen got us scheduled quickly, Meagan designed an absolutely stunning closet, Tanner and Ben installed everything flawlessly, and Stacey went above and beyond by ordering two additional shelves that arrived in just two days. “Easy process from the first consultation. I was confused about why they designed the cabinets in my home instead of their office. The install was done on time and the guys were very professional.”

“My designer was phenomenal, attentive, and took the time to understand my vision for the closet. Unfortunately, the challenges began during the execution phase. The primary issue involved the acrylic drawer design. The original installation did not match the vision we discussed, and while the company assured me they could make the necessary changes, communication throughout the process was inconsistent. After deciding to move forward with a handleless design, the installer arrived with the drawer that still had a handle, and I had not been informed of any changes or limitations beforehand. There were also several occasions when I was unable to reach Stacy, and I was told that the company was short-staffed or a small operation. While I understand that staffing challenges can occur, those internal constraints should not become the customer’s burden. Communication should be proactive, factual, and solution-oriented. Ultimately, I was informed that the handle I had previously selected were backordered, which would require me to take yet another day off work for installation. Even after a year, they pulled up our design and had all of the measurements in front of them. It was so fast and easy. Maureen, Stacy, and Jeremy made the whole process simple. We originally received a discount coupon about a year ago, and from the very beginning, the experience felt personal and thoughtful. You are truly treated directly by the owners, who take the time to sit down with you, listen carefully, and work around your needs—including your schedule. We even met in early January on a non-business day, which speaks volumes about their flexibility and commitment. Corrie was absolutely wonderful. She patiently worked with us to revise our budget as many times as needed, always understanding, attentive, and extremely accommodating. She genuinely listened to what we wanted and made sure we were comfortable every step of the way. Their staff and installation team were equally amazing—professional, helpful, and efficient. “I hired them to construct a simple closet, but to my dismay, by the third day, the progress was far from satisfactory. Consequently, I requested that the initial worker be replaced. The company assured me that a more experienced and qualified individual would take over, so, hesitantly, I granted them a second chance. Regrettably, even with the new worker, the quality did not meet my expectations. It turns out the replacement was also relatively new to the business. Considering the hefty price tag of $5000, the final result was a poorly assembled closet that lacked the desired appearance. I deeply regret my decision to hire this company and feel compelled to caution others against doing the same. As of now, on day 5, my installation remains unfinished, leaving me disappointed and frustrated.”

“Stacie was really helpful in capturing exactly what I wanted without having to say it to her. She understood exactly what was needed based on her observations of my space. Also, for her to manual draw or sketch my closet and seeing the end result, that was really artistic of her not having to depend on a system to carve out a closet design. I truly admire her for skillful approach. After 8 months with my closet I am a bit disappointed. I noticed that my clothes hangs over the closet because the rods are not centered. This was not something I was made aware of. If I was given the option I would have opted for this initially. I literally had no day in this decision. Now, I do not know about closet making nor am I familiar with the placing of rods. If this was mentioned in the initial consultation I would have opted for the rods to be centered. Logically who wants their clothes to be hanging over their closet? Not me!! I do have enough space in my closet where any additional measurements could have been done to accommodate my rods being centered. I posted this now after seeing a lot of reels popping up on my phone with the rods being centered.”

When the sales rep came to my house she first began by saying, “how can Closets by Design make your life easier?” I replied, “I’m an unorganized person who wants to have an organized closet!” Hours later, she designed a space for me that was simple, organized and ideal for my busy lifestyle. I received a discount for working in healthcare! I will be calling Closets by Design to design my study/library/office very soon!”

“Overall, the sales rep Brev did an excellent job and exceeded our expectations on the product. We are pleased. However, we were disappointed (but not a deal breaker) on day two, when the installers finished the job, the countertop edge was not caulked (we were told they did not have the matching color to our laundry room wall). But the cabinets installed above were caulked by them. Also, the cabinets in the closet were left smudged and not cleaned off before they left. I brought this up, I was told to use a soft cloth and water. I accepted this response. But I would have thought they would have offered to complete this task.”

“Some before and after pics are posted but I couldn’t have had a better experience with this closet make over from beginning to end. Alicia designed a closet space for me that would be functional for me while making the most out of the space and she made it work for my budget. The installation team was also impressive arriving promptly at 09:00 a.m. and was complete by 4:00p.m. It’s been about 24 hours and I’m still delighted with my decision. My only con is if I move it stays with the house.”
