“I recently purchased a house and That 1 Painter in Richmond was a huge help. They were very responsive and helped me with recommendations on colors and what would look best throughout the house. Wendy and Kate were fair honest and transparent from the beginning. They communicated well and made sure everything was done right before they left. They even painted the stone fireplace and it turned out great (lightened with Venetian glaze). I really appreciated how much they cared about the details and making sure I was happy with everything. Even when I chose not to paint the other stone areas, they properly refunded me fairly. This is so huge. Most other GCs and painters would find other change orders or treat their customers unfairly at this point. I would definitely recommend That 1 Painter to anyone looking for a reliable painting company in Richmond.”

“We had a phenomenal experience with That 1 Painter Fort Bend!!! Wendy (the owner) made SURE to fit us into their very busy schedule, and completely understood our predicament of hosting a lot of family around sons’s wedding. Wendy came to our home and we talked through my concerns around our home. She was compassionate, realistic, and very helpful in making decisions. The entire process from start to finish was very professional! Kate, the manager was also an absolute pleasure to work with, along with their 2 painters. The painters were fast and very efficient. My husband was shocked tand VERY pleased that they were able to match the old paint of 20 years ago! The whole project only took a day and a half. Alfredo spent a lot of time fixing our cracks in the walls! I could share more, but let me just say, as a woman home owner, I was treated with great respect and amazing service and would recommend them to anyone! They are trustworthy and even go the extra mile!”

“We had an outstanding experience working with Wendy, Kate, and their painting team. They transformed our kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, and bathroom walls, and the results exceeded our expectations. From the initial consultation through project completion, Wendy and Kate were incredibly professional, responsive, and detail-oriented. They took the time to understand exactly what we wanted, provided helpful recommendations, and ensured every detail was executed flawlessly. The quality of the workmanship was exceptional. Our cabinets look factory-finished, with smooth, even coverage and a beautiful, durable finish. The bathroom walls were painted with the same level of care and precision, leaving every space looking fresh, bright, and completely renewed. What impressed us most was the team's professionalism, cleanliness, and respect for our home. They arrived on time, maintained a tidy workspace throughout the project, and communicated proactively every step of the way. It's clear they take great pride in their work and customer satisfaction. “We recently hired Wendy and her team at That 1 Painter: Fort Bend County to repaint our kitchen cabinets (from chocolate to cream), and we couldn’t be happier with the results! From start to finish, their communication was excellent - clear, timely, and professional. Wendy (the owner) genuinely cared about the quality of work her team delivered, and that really showed throughout the entire project. We also had them patch a hole in our ceiling and paint-match where we had removed a kitchen light. The paint job was flawless! You would never know there was a hole there! Lastly, we had them paint our baseboards and door frames (this was something we added on during the project). Wendy jumped right on the request and was able to tag it on at the end of our planned work without missing a beat. The crew (Melvin, Josue, and Melgar) was awesome - respectful, courteous, and incredibly diligent. They took their time to make sure every detail was just right, and it was clear they took pride in their work. They divided and conquered to ensure the project remained on schedule - all while remaining calm and focused. This is something I especially appreciated because I work from home - I never ”

“We recently used That 1 Painter to transfer our home exterior. From start to finish, Wendy (owner), Kate (project manager), and their team (Melvin and Kevin!) were amazing to work with - extremely professional, talented, and thorough. We originally were recommended to them by Romabio as we wanted to use their products on our stucco and stone and they are a preferred painter for Romabio. Everyday they arrived on time, kept their areas clean, were friendly and did amazing work. I can’t say one single bad thing about any of them! They were also very flexible and willing to work with me as I changed my mind a few times! I would not hesitate to recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future. We are extremely pleased with how our home looks and have received MANY compliments from our neighbors.”

“Wendy and her team did a phenomenal job on our home. Wendy was patient, understanding and extremely helpful when I made several changes from start to finish. Her team was extremely professional and made sure to leave things better than when they arrived. They were very careful to pay attention to details and worked long days to ensure they met the deadline . I am extremely satisfied and appreciative of their work that transformed the look of our home. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their services!!”

“Don’t wait, just call them! What a great experience from start to finish . Communication with Wendy was great also Kate the project manager who came out on the day of the job before work started and checked in again when the work was finished .Two of the most polite, careful fast crew that I have worked with , repaired some “Popping” in our very high ceiling with drywall and then painted the entire downstairs ceiling . Fantastic work, great value and so good they are coming back later in the year to paint cabinets .5 Stars ⭐️”

“Wendy came out and gave me a quote for exterior painting (including Romabio products on stucco/stone). Price was reasonable and inline with expectations. She was flexible when awaiting my HOA for color approval and even offered to step in if anything was problematic (which it wasn't). When it was time for the work to begin, communication was great - now through the Project Manager - Kate. There were a few days where the weather didn't corporate. My schedule also made it a bit more difficult on the team. Most importantly, they accommodated my scheduling and requests without problem. No job is ever perfect - what matters to me most is communication, punctuality, following-though with what you say, and listening to reasonable requests. That 1 Painter Fort Bend did all those without issue. They'll definitely be my first call when we need more painting services. Thanks for the great work.”
