Charleston Cabinets Inc

Charleston Cabinets Inc runs cabinet work from Summerville as a family owned local outfit. They have handled cabinetry design, countertops, and bathroom vanities since 1992 out of their showroom. Staff take on new builds, full kitchen installs, and replacement jobs for homeowners and contractors in the area. The business supplies matching moldings, door pulls, and other pieces to keep older work consistent.

Customers describe kitchen renovations where Daniel helped set countertops that fit cleanly into place. Bathroom remodels went smoother with Niki supplying multiple design options and quotes while staying reachable for questions. Mike adjusted schedules on short notice when other work fell behind. After a flood ruined builder cabinets, Suzen created a new layout that came in well under big box costs, and the install crew handled the details on site. Jay and Daniel also tracked down specific cabinets under time pressure and stored units in the warehouse when a schedule slipped.

The crew stays responsive during planning and installation, with reviewers noting quick fixes for trim, doors, or placement issues. Pricing comes in fair compared to chains, and the team keeps projects moving even when electrical or lighting details need coordination. Service reaches the local area with installers who have decades of experience on site.

Most reviews give top marks for the family approach, attention to detail in the planning stage, and results that hold up over time. One lower mark cited delays in receiving quotes. DIRT Score 3.8 from 14 reviews on Finds.

“Love that this company is owned by a local family! Worked with Daniel on our kitchen renovation and the project was seamless! The countertop installed looked amazing once set into place. Couldn’t be happier with the outcome! Will continue to use them for any future projects!”

“Very helpful & great to work with. Provided quality cabinets for our new build 25 yrs ago and still in great condition. Today they were able to provide us with molding to match those cabinets. Awesome service!”

“Charleston Cabinets did a great job on our bathroom remodel. Niki was great with helping us decide on what we wanted. She provided designs and quotes on various options and was always available to answer any questions that we had. When our project was delayed, Mike was flexible and able to reschedule with little notice. We will definitely be coming back for our next project!”

“After our kitchen flooded and ruined our cheap faux wood cabinets installed by the home builder, we felt hopeless. Suzen came out and gave us hope. She designed our new kitchen, and came in hundreds below the big box stores. We are so happy with our new cabinets. The install team was outstanding. They were passionate about details, and proud of their work, qualities that are hard to find these days. I can't say enough good things about this team. Thank you, thank you, thank you! We love our new kitchen!”

“Mike and his team at Charleston Cabinets are truly the best. Very helpful and always willing to assist. Being in the remodeling business we don't always come across great companies but Charleston Cabinets is definitely one of those that anyone doing a kitchen remodel should work with. Thanks Mike for all of your help..”

“Amazing group of people here. Had a whole new kitchen created and installed. Cabinets turned out amazing couldn't be anymore happy. Hands down beats any big box store. Family owned.”

“Great company from start to finish. Nikki and Jay helped me plan the total remodeling job including placement of electrical outlets and lighting. When I fell behind schedule they kept our cabinets in their warehouse "no problem". Very professional installer - 30 years experience. The small problems we encountered were fixed quickly without trouble (including replacing trim, doors and moving a cabinet). We're super happy. You can't get this kind of service from a big box store.”

“Charleston cabinets is by far the best cabinet shop I’ve dealt with in years. They have several high quality product lines. They also supply door pulls and countertops. Their design team has great taste. I was very impressed with their attention to detail in the planning stage. As a general contractor, I am very happy to have used charleston cabinets for my person home. They are true craftsmen who care about their trade. Their Pricing is very fair. You will not find a better company in Charleston.”

“I have worked with Jay and Daniel over the past several weeks searching for certain kitchen cabinets. They went out of their way to help me find what I needed. I was under a time crunch and they expedited their efforts and found what I needed in a short time period. They were friendly, professional, worked with me on the rice, and great customer focused folks. I will seek them out again if I ever have cabinet needs in the future. Thx guys.”

“Charleston Cabinets are the best! I did a total kitchen remodel working with Nikki. Why would you go to a big box store when you can get amazing customer service locally?”

“Amazing experience working with Nikki. From the early planning stage to final project, things were done exactly how we wanted it. Great service and great to work with. We love our kitchen!”

“Selection of product in showroom was decent but is lacking in customer service and getting quotes back to customers. Told three different times when I should expect it back and still haven't received it. If they can't get a simple quote out I would be very concerned about ordering product personally. We will be looking elsewhere for our additional cabinet needs.”

“Daniel was SO helpful in helping throughout the entire process of getting my new countertops!”

“Love these people. Great, friendly people. Local and dedicated. Trustworthy!”
