“As I was researching everywhere trying to find a vanity that had what is called a knee drawer, which is basically a space to sit between the sinks, I was striking out. So I googled woodworkers in Charleston and came across Odyssey Woodworks. From my initial call, Matt the owner, could not have been more kind, helpful and accommodating.. He built a custom vanity made of oak to my specifications, installed it, and the result is exactly what I envisioned. The doors and drawer are all soft close and there is so much storage space. Matt sold me the pulls too at an unmatchable price. He takes great pride in his craft and it certainly shows. Matt was always available by a phone call or text and reasonably priced as well. “We had a tricky situation trying to conceal a washer and dryer in a very tight space. I sent Matt pics of what I THOUGHT might work, and he made it happen! I had reached out to a few other cabinet makers and they either didn't want to take on a small-ish job, they didn't return calls at all, or their prices were too high. I'm happy I found Odyssey! Matt's a great guy providing quality workmanship. Alex was the installer and he was awesome! Even came back out to tweak a few things after the quartz installation. Will definitely use Odyssey again! (a few before, during, and after shots - still need to paint the walls and accessorize).”

“Horrible! We will never work with them again and had to write off thousands of dollars in Product. They gave us a quote for painting wooden racks and then changed the quote and never competed the job. We have Almost 2,000 wooden racks that were never painted sitting in our warehouse now. Matt was impossible to get ahold of. I would text and call and email and no response. They caused our business harm. We could not sell all that product and we had no other product to put up for sale so we lost money all the way around. Horrible and do not recommend this company. And the racks they did paint were not painted well. Many of them were returned.”

“We renovated our master bathroom earlier this year. I worked with Matt Brown on creating a custom double vanity and a medicine cabinet for above the toilet. Matt was quick to respond, answered all my questions and provided pictures, measurement options and a sample piece of the wood. His prices were very reasonable compared to other cabinet companies. His installers showed up on time, were professional and cleaned up after they completed the install. My husband and I love our new "white birch" cabinets. We are very pleased with how it turned out and would definitely recommend Odyssey Woodworks for any cabinet install. We have been doing a lot of renovations at home and I can speak from experience that it is so hard to find reliable contractors that show up and complete the job as promised. “We paid a deposit over a year ago, and the project is still not complete. The contractor repeatedly used inferior materials compared to what was originally quoted, missed multiple installation dates, and has consistently failed to deliver on commitments. Worse, the owner has stopped responding to phone calls, emails, and text messages. Throughout this process, he has been consistently dishonest — each time we spoke, we were given misleading or false information. Avoid this company. They have shown a complete lack of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.”
