Sullivan's Custom Cabinetry

Sullivan's Custom Cabinetry handles cabinet work out of Tulsa. They build full service cabinetry for every budget, covering kitchens, bathrooms, custom closets, furniture, mudrooms, laundry rooms and similar projects. The company runs a showroom and shop where they take ideas from start to finish, working with architects, builders and individual homeowners on jobs big or small. They have operated since 1980 and focus on matching specifications at each stage.

Customers describe kitchen and utility room remodels where cabinets match existing color and texture while adding storage that makes the space feel larger. Jack works on designs for custom pieces and asks questions to match what owners want. Lisa handles similar projects like office remodels, provides install recommendations and follows through on details. Reviews mention floating bath cabinets, entertainment centers and special features such as hidden screens that come out with a button press. The team returns after installation to adjust doors or fix small issues.

Work often stays on schedule with clear updates during the build. Some jobs finish at a price that fits the quality level, and the crew shows up courteous during install. Service area covers the local area with hours that allow visits to the shop. A few reviews note longer waits between order and delivery or quotes that needed correction because measurements were not reviewed on site. Pricing has risen in recent years for basic setups according to repeat buyers.

Google shows 4.3 from 35 reviews with frequent notes on solid build quality and helpful design input, though some mention finish problems that required extra visits or slower responses under new ownership. DIRT Score 3.6 from N reviews on Finds.

“We had an amazing experience from start to finish! The team custom-built our cabinets, and they turned out even better than we could have imagined. The craftsmanship and attention to detail exceeded all of our expectations, and the finished product is absolutely beautiful. On top of that, the customer service was outstanding throughout the entire process. They were responsive, professional, and truly cared about making sure everything was perfect. We couldn't be happier with the results and highly recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality custom cabinetry!”

“Great quality but horrible service. The service has gone way down hill with the new owners. I have bought Sullivan cabinets multiple times of the decades and they have always had great quality and a reasonable price (for the quality). Now they have gotten super pricey. Last quote was almost $1000 per linear foot for both upper and lower cabinets that were fairly basic (nothing fancy). The worst is she refused to come out to review what we wanted until we were going to order, kept wanting me to come to her. She kept getting the quote wrong because she did not understand what we needed. I can no longer recommend them. Only reason they got a three star is due to the quality. Otherwise would have been a 1 star. RESPONSE TO THEIR REPLY: This was a simple design. Shaker style doors, knotty alder, not much "details" (moldings, etc.), no specialty drawers other than a trash cabinet. Got high quality custom cabinets elsewhere for half the price. While I wish you the best, ever since the original owner Bobby Sullivan left, you have gone WAY downhill.”

“Not only was Sullivan's pricing the best, I ultimately chose Sullivan's to complete our office remodel because of the customer service. Going off a inspiration photo, Lisa asked a lot of clarifying questions (and was patient with us as we asked questions) to ensure the cabinets were built just as we expected. I also appreciated that she provided recommendations for someone to install the cabinets. Everything turned out so beautiful! It's clear they do quality work, but the overall experience with the entire team is what sets them apart.”

“I would like say thanks to Lisa R. at Sullivan’s Custom Cabinets and all the staff that helped make our kitchen and utility room remodel project a success. All the quality and craftsmanship that makes our kitchen look great and functional. Sullivan’s worked with us throughout the complete process beginning to finished product. Also after installation they came out to make all necessary adjustments as needed. Thanks again satisfied customer for life.”

“Sullivan’s did a fantastic job designing and installing my parents’ kitchen cabinetry. My mom is now able to store her plethora of kitchenware and navigate easily in a unique space. The new cabinets perfectly match the color, texture, and design of the existing cabinets, while the placement makes the kitchen seem twice as big. My parents are able to entertain with ease and pride, especially when Dad gets to show off the “James Bond” TV that appears and disappears with the touch of a button. We absolutely recommend Sullivan’s to anyone who is seeking quality work and exemplary customer service.”

“We've recommended and used Sullivan's Cabinets for our homes almost exclusivly for about 20 years. The design, construction, and finishes of cabinets have only become more creative and challenging over the last several years. No matter the complexities the architects or clients bring to the table, the team at Sullivan's always rise to the challenge to deliver the attention, service, and quality our customers demand. They have a devotion to continuing improvement by reinvesting into the company and employees. State of the art equipment and salt of the earth people make it my favorite place to visit and collaborate with during construction and my customers are always thrilled with their cabinets and the service they receive. “We have used Sullivan’s since 2011 and they are amazing and top notch company. Their cabinetry stands out among their competitors. We love working with Jack and he’s so gifted with his design skills and creativity on what we want. I highly recommend them and you will love your cabinetry.”

With such professional service and a very caring staff, installer's were courteous and respectful. We highly recommend Sullivan's Custom Cabinetry !! Nothing is too small or too large for them to create !”

“Sullivan's made all of the custom modern floating cabinets we used in our master bath remodel and they are beautiful! They were on time, good at communicating during the process and priced fairly. We would definitely recommend them.”

“First and foremost Jack is the most professional and detailed person i've met. He is very courteous and attentive and really has a passion for making people's dream kitchens and cabinets come true. If you want quality and 5 star service go to Sullivan's. Excellent value for the money. Even more than that the design program Jack uses is unmatched in this industry. Go with Sullivan's you will NOT be disappointed. Thank you Jack for all the time you spent with us we appreciate you more than you know!”

“Craftsmanship is beautiful, however the finishing and paint job does not align with the cost of the product. Three touch up visits already! Just found two more places where the paint/finish is flaking off. Disappointed. Designer was fantastic though! She took the time to listen and help us make decisions based on what we were visualizing.”

“I chose the more local vendor and regret it. The order went in March 2021 - first check cleared the bank 3/8 - and we were told installation would be May. After not hearing anything through the entire month we finally called in June and were told July install. Kitchen demo’ed in July and we never heard. When we started calling, we were repeatedly told cabinets were in paint and almost done. Install finally happened in September kinda. Sink base had to be modified (not big, took a day) and two cabinet fronts had to be rebuilt. Oh yeah, cabinets that were in paint in July wreaked of fresh paint in September. Cabinet fronts were finally done and final install date was January 24; they invoiced January 27. Today Stephanie - I believe their CFO - had audacity to call to fuss I’d not paid them within 2 weeks. The kitchen took over a year from final plans - nearly 11 months from when they got my first check - and the company had a long pattern of not communicating . This does not bode well for their longevity. Please save yourself the frustration.”

“Incredible people and very high quality cabinets. Just moved in and they did all of our new home with multiple kitchens, baths, and entertainment centers. Huge selection of wood, styles, and finishes. Great install and touch up where other contractors dinged in spots. A grade business and product.”

“The absolute best cabinet shop within 100 miles!”

“Rude lady who answered my question. Think it was Linda. She laughed at me when I asked for a simple quote and said I had measurements. Unnecessary!! No I don’t buy these every day so be gracious and helpful!!!”

“Beautiful cabinets! They have so many ideas and varieties to fit any household! Wonderful staff to work with.”

“Cabinets are absolutely perfect. They were made with exceptional quality. Everything was done on time and at a great price.”

“Awesome designs for custom cabinets.”

“Outstanding experience. They knocked every curveball we threw at them out of the Park!”
