JBZ Custom Cabinets & Trim

JBZ Custom Cabinets & Trim runs as a family owned cabinet and carpentry outfit in Willis, Texas. It started in 2008 under a master craftsman who has more than twenty years of hands on experience building custom furniture and cabinets. The work also covers general carpentry and handyman repairs around homes and other structures.

Customers describe fixes to damaged cabinet toe kicks and interiors that restored the original look, repairs to soft close drawers where one needed an on the spot adjustment without the factory part, and RV interior changes that added roll out pantry shelves, turned bunk beds into an office plus storage cabinets, and created a credenza with a fireplace and hidden table. Other projects include kitchen drawer repairs, custom bookshelves, full kitchen installs that improved layout and function, stair and fence rebuilds, and bigger home remodels that removed walls and doors, replaced windows, reinstalled brick, and set a thirty foot steel beam to open up nine hundred square feet of living space.

Jonathan shows up on time or early each day, keeps the site clean, gives regular progress updates, answers calls right away, and stays late to finish details or pick up trash. He offers straightforward advice on materials and best practices, charges fair rates without extra markups, handles small repairs the same day when possible, and takes on larger jobs that run on schedule. “Amazing work! I had severe damage to my cabinet toe kicks and bottom of the interior cabinets and JBZ Custom Cabinets and Trim made it look like it never happened. He was constantly updating me on the progress of staining my new toe kicks and what was needed and was very professional. When the day comes to completely replace our cabinets, we know who to trust with the job! Thank you guys!!”

“Jonathan made a pretty good drive to help us with a job that many might have considered too small, just a repair of two soft-close drawers. For one drawer, it turned out that he didn’t have the specific part he needed, but he was able to fix it anyway. The other one, which I had bent out of shape, he made good as new. Then he went around on his own tightening up and adjusting our other cabinet doors and drawers, and finally asked us if there was anything else he could do while he was there. He was super nice, clearly knowledgeable, and happy to help us. Great experience all the way around, and I’m sure we’re going to find some other things he can help us with!”

“I have a 2020 Newmar KSDP 40’… it came with the “Jackknife” sofa which it the most uncomfortable sofa I’ve ever seen. I wanted my coach to fit me, so I decided to do some remodeling. First, replaced the sofa with Lambright recliners. Next, I removed the dinette, which was too high when seated. Then I started searching for someone to do some remodeling and found JBZ Cabinets &Trim. First project was to install roll out shelving in my pantry, next he removed the bunk beds (8’ length) and built an office on one end and storage cabinets on the other end. Lastly, remember the dinette I had removed? Well he built a credenza, with storage, fireplace, and hidden pullout table! Now my coach fits me and my needs! JBZ is the best!”

“Jonathan. Did a fantastic job in the repair of my kitchen cabinet drawer. He was fast, great quality and very pleasant and down to earth individual. I will use his service in the future as needed. Mario”

“Jonathan was kind and professional and did beautiful work on our custom book shelves and I would use his company again if I need any more carpentry work!”

“I had a great experience working with JBZ Custom Cabinets & Trim. From the start, they were easy to work with — professional, responsive, and clearly take a lot of pride in what they do. The quality of their craftsmanship really shows in the final product. Every cabinet and trim detail was clean, precise, and exactly what I was hoping for. They stayed on schedule, kept the work area tidy, and were great about communicating updates along the way. It’s rare to find a crew that’s both skilled and dependable, but JBZ definitely delivered on both. I’d absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality custom cabinetry or trim work. The finished result completely transformed the space and looks incredible.”

“I recommend Jon without hesitation. His professionalism, work ethic, and skills are unmatched. The kitchen is the heart of the home and Jon has the knowledge and skill set to bring your dream to life. He exceeded our expectations, caught things we would have missed in planning, made helpful suggestions and flat out hit a home run! It is rare to find someone of his caliber and skill. He was a joy to have in the house. Shows up early, works hard, and makes sure everything is perfect. If you are fortunate enough to have him on your build you will be forever thankful. Thank you Jon!”

“Jonathan did a full home remodel for me. He removed walls, doors and windows and replaced them and reinstalled all brick. He placed a 30 foot steel beam in the attic to make a 900 square foot living space. Always on time, showed up everyday and does quality work. I'm a stickler for quality of finished project. Final details are important and Jonathan nailed it. If you want quality and perfection seek out Jonathan. You will not be disappointed!”

“Jon was amazing! We were left with a kitchen worthy of Pinterest!! He was able to take a design and add to it and give practical, well experienced advice to make the kitchen flow and function. Install was amazing and left the job in perfect condition.”

“Awesome job. Honest, Clean, Quality job. We recommend JBZ CUSTOM CABINETS for any of your carpentry needs.”

“Jonathan has done a lot of work for us, some of it quite extensive as the floors in our house were collapsing. He does not quit and did not take days off until the projects were completed. He gives excellent advice on best practices and materials, and guided us through the various projects so we could make informed decisions. He's installed doors, bath tubs, toilets, a dishwasher, floors as mentioned, flooring, and even helped rehab a camper on our property. Probably more but there's been so much I can't think of it all. He's trustworthy, and fair on his pricing and does not gouge, which is probably the most important of all.”

“John is a master in his field. His craftsmanship is refined and polished. Thank you John for turning our vision into such a beautiful space. Wow! Wow! Wow!”

“Jonathan and his team are a hard working group providing excellent service with quality and timely results. They make sure they fully understand the tasks at hand during the work by asking relevant questions. They are professionals. I will hire them again.”

“John is detail oriented. He thought of things that we didn't think about that could come back to honest later we were grateful for his advice his expertise and its ability to run the job on time and on budget in the main thing is believe it or not everyday after work he stayed late to make sure all the trash was picked up and there was nothing that was out of place. Any questions or concerns that we had he addressed immediately as in all jobs I think it's the ability to address a matter quickly and sufficiently that makes all the difference in the world he never had to return our phone calls he always answered when we called and I got to say I don't recommend people to anybody because I can't find anybody out there worth recommended in the field of doing remodel work but I would definitely recommend John he does great work and we will use them again on further projects thank you so much John.”
