“I wish I could give zero stars - and here's why... My experience with Craftsman Collective was extremely disappointing. The initial meeting and estimate was great - they talked a lot about working with us to make sure we got exactly what we wanted while being very mindful of our budget. However, their estimate changed drastically from what we were originally given IN WRITING, and the communication was fairly poor throughout the process. After we signed the original estimate, the issues started almost immediately. They emphasize that the design phase is billed separately, but the design team didn’t seem to listen to anything we discussed. We repeatedly had to correct basic details and request revisions, only to be charged for work that felt like we were essentially doing ourselves. I ended up photoshopping their design multiple times because we were so off target, despite the fact we were essentially just keeping the exactly same layout but updating with new cabinets and countertop. We ended up editing the designs multiple times just to get them close to what we originally explained. And keep in mind, we are being billed for how long this takes.
