KNIGHT CONSTRUCTION & REMODELING

KNIGHT CONSTRUCTION & REMODELING handles carpentry and general contracting work out of Beaumont. Paul Knight runs the company along with Daphne and takes on residential remodeling jobs in Port Arthur along with commercial remodeling projects and new home construction in Nederland. The crew also handles home renovations and full property improvements such as kitchen and bathroom updates or complete house overhauls. They cover both residential and commercial properties in the local area and focus on straightforward construction tasks from start to finish.

Customers call them for carport cover replacements after storm damage, new awnings, porch columns, dryer vents, and stuck door repairs. Paul has built carports and awnings that stay level and square while looking clean, and he has turned sunrooms into bedrooms with bathrooms plus laid new flooring throughout homes. Other jobs include barn roof work, hardy board siding over old material, outdoor storage sheds, fences, and porte-cochère repairs. Reviewers note that Paul builds everything heavy duty, gets the inspections done, and finishes additions or remodels so the results hold up without further issues.

Paul shows up with the right tools, listens to what the homeowner wants, explains the build steps, and keeps the job moving on schedule. He stays upfront about costs, works around kids and pets when needed, and takes on small projects without pushing back. The crew stays professional and courteous during the work, and customers in Beaumont and nearby towns say the communication stays clear from the first visit through the end. Pricing comes across as fair for the scope, and the team completes projects without dragging things out.

The company holds a 4.9 rating across its reviews. People keep mentioning solid workmanship, punctuality, fair pricing, and reliable follow-through on both big remodels and smaller fixes.

“Paul Knight replaced a carport cover at my house. The old carport cover caved in during a storm. He came highly recommended. I am happy with his work! I do not have to worry about anything happening to my new carport cover. It is built extremely well. Paul has also helped me with several other projects including new columns on my front porch, a vent to the outdoors for my dryer and a stuck front door that I couldn’t open. Paul does the job right. He is meticulous with his work. He is responsive and he completes his projects in a timely manner. His prices are fair. He also doesn’t mind taking on the small projects. I appreciate everything he has done for me. I have already contacted him about my next project!”

He came out and brought a string line, level, post-hole digger, and all other tools. He made sure it was level and square, and aesthetically pleasing. “I used Knight Construction to build me an outdoor storage shed and fence. They were professional, eager to start right away and came in at a great price. Will use again.”

“Workmanship was very good. We're happy with the whole outcome. We had new hardy board lap siding and trim put on over T-111. Paul suggested wrapping that old siding after fixing the rot. Then he painted it with PPG paint that he recommended as premium paint which looks great. He did a great job adding a new awning to my shed.”
