About
Mr. Handyman of N.E. Austin and Georgetown works out of Georgetown, Texas as a carpentry crew. They cover homes across Georgetown and the northeast side of Austin with wood repairs and builds that fit daily needs. The outfit handles lumber work in a region where temperatures swing hard and humidity shifts fast, so frames and boards move more than in milder spots. Homeowners reach them for fixes that keep structures solid rather than flashy overhauls. The crew stays focused on getting wood pieces to fit right the first time and last through the local seasons without constant callbacks.
Georgetown summers bake decks and fences until boards split or pull loose from posts, while sudden rains soak trim around windows and doors until they swell and stick. Carpenters here routinely replace warped exterior doors that no longer close tight, rebuild sections of backyard fences knocked down by wind, shore up sagging porch railings, and reset kitchen cabinets where drawers bind after the wood dries out. They bring saws and levels to measure existing spots accurately, cut new pieces on site, and fasten everything with hardware that holds against expansion. This keeps small problems from turning into full replacements on sheds, stairs, and window casings that homeowners deal with every few years.
The score comes from steady results on timing and follow-through, with crews finishing most jobs in one visit and leaving sites clean. Homeowners note fair costs that match the work done without surprise add-ons, plus clear updates on what needs fixing before any cuts start. Quality shows in joints that stay flush and surfaces that need no extra sanding or adjustments later. Speed counts when a gate fails or steps loosen and create safety issues right away. DIRT Score 4.65 from 250 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“We came across this company's name from Google and hired one of their local handyman to install an exhaust fan in our garage. The handyman Andy and his associate were an excellent team who perform an amazing job to complete installing the fan, efficiently and left the premises extremely clean. They were professional and I definitely will call upon them for any other work we have to perform at our home. I highly recommend them. Dilip Patel”
“We contacted this company to replace a decorative vent cover on the front of our home. We told them from the beginning that it was about three stories high, above a second-story window. We received a quote and asked them to come out beforehand to review the job with us so we would know exactly what was included and make sure the quote covered the work required. We also sent photos of what needed to be repaired. They assured us an on-site visit was not necessary, although they said they could come out for an additional $70. We decided to trust their assessment and agreed to a repair cost of $580. When the worker arrived, he only had a basic ladder that wasn't nearly tall enough to reach the vent. He told us he would need to rent a lift from Home Depot to complete the job. We were fine with that, as long as it didn't result in a significant price increase. Later, they told us the cost would increase by about $400. Since lift rentals from Home Depot cost less than $300, we felt the additional charge was unreasonable. In our experience, the company did not accurately assess the scope of the work before providing a quote, which resulted in a large and unexpected price increase. We are now back to square one trying to get this repair completed.”
“William was so nice and did an excellent job. He definitely knew what he was doing and completed the job in no time flat. And he cleaned up his mess! I have more projects in mind for Mr Handyman 👍”
“I needed some help constructing some boxed furniture. I chose this company because of their yelp reviews. My construction professional came out went right to work and worked swiftly and made our furniture look absolutely beautiful, photo ready! He didn’t try to make things longer to charge more. He truly did the best work to our benefit, not to the company’s benefit, however, doing a good job is to the company’s benefit, he did not try to overcharge us at all. I will definitely be calling this company with all my needs. I highly recommend them.”
“William arrived on time and started on the job immediately. The job was to remove 6 of my old shutters and replace. Though one set of my purchased shutters were discovered unusable once the box was opened, William did as much as he could with what was available. Once the newly reordered shutters arrive next week, I’m requesting the same handyman to return to complete the job. William was polite, personable and very knowledgeable.”
