Nafees Creations

Nafees Creations operates as a carpentry business out of Pearland, Texas, and serves customers across Greater Houston. Mr. Khan runs the shop, which handles furniture repair, restoration, and refinishing along with woodwork such as custom pieces and CNC cutting. The business also takes on furniture making and repair for tables, chairs, cabinets, dressers, beds, antiques, and outdoor items.

Customers drop off dining tables with broken legs that lose stability after moves, antique oak office chairs with snapped backs, cedar chests with damaged veneer, and shattered chair legs with cane bottoms. Mr. Khan and Khalid have fixed these by disassembling pieces, replacing casters and bearings, stabilizing frames, refinishing surfaces, and restoring details like chessboards and their pieces. They have also cut sound panels to fit, built custom toys to specific designs, and repaired high-end chairs with worn parts while coordinating with upholstery shops when needed.

The shop communicates through messages and photos to give upfront bids and updates on progress. Reviewers note reasonable prices, work finished ahead of the stated time, and hassle-free pickup and delivery. Service stays within Greater Houston, with the team listening to what each piece needs and suggesting fixes that match the condition without shortcuts.

All provided reviews give five stars, with repeated comments on solid repairs, fair costs, and steady updates from start to finish.

“Excellent workmanship recreating my dad’s handmade chessboard and restoring the original chess pieces. The attention to detail and quality of the work are more than appreciated.”

“My formal dining table was damaged so much in our recent move, we could not put it back together with any stability. A friend of mine found Mend My Furniture online, and I took the table legs to them for repair. They did such a great job with the repairs that the table is more stable now than it was even before our move. Great people, they did a great job for a more than reasonable price. Thank you so much for giving us back our family gathering table.”

“I broke the back of my wife’s favorite antique swiveling oak office chair. I looked local and found excellent reviews on Nafees workmanship. I contacted Mr. Khan and through messaging and photos received an honest bid. His shop has state of the art equipment and Mr. Khan the skills of a Renaissance craftsman. He disassembled the chair, repaired more than I broke, replaced worn casters, bearings, screws, and refinished the piece. All this he did while communicating his findings. I highly recommend him based on his craftsmanship, his professional reputation, and his kind and friendly family!”

“Brought Mr Khan a pretty nice (high end furniture store) but very damaged chair for repair. Mr Khan was upfront about the amount of time the repair would take and I appreciated that he would not be cutting corners with the quality. He was knowledgeable about the piece and had seen similar ones which gave me peace of mind also. In the end the repair was done BEFORE the promised time frame and he took the time to go over the work done. I will definitely use his business if needed in the future and would recommend”

“I recently had the opportunity to utilize the CNC cutting service provided by Nafees Creations. I must say that the experience was outstanding. First and foremost, I was impressed by Khalid's knowledge of the party equipment rental industry. Second, the quality of Khalid's work was exceptional. The finished product has clean edges and accurate dimensions that match the provided specification. Finally, I appreciate that Khalid provided regular updates throughout the process, ensuring transparency and addressing any questions that I had. “We ordered some moveable alphabet materials from Nafees and once they were here, we realized we hadn't read the online description well enough and they weren't what we expected. Mr. Khan offered a refund, but also offered to custom make the exact materials we were looking for! The customer service was unmatched (emails or phone calls to follow up, a sample sent before the full product was made, shipping tracking info, etc.) and the product itself is beautiful. We highly recommend Nafees and will continue to use them for any products (especially custom-made) in the future.”

“The best people with the most amazing materials! They're so incredibly helpful and so involved in the community. I'm so excited to use our new materials in the OT clinic!!!”

“Two antique chairs and one antique rocker were given over to Nafees Creations for repair and restoration. All work was done professionally and expeditiously and I was kept well informed with each step of the process. This work also required coordination with an upholstery business which went smoothly. I came to him with a basic design and he helped to ensure that the specs were correct and even provided suggestions for alternative materials to reduce costs and combat global supply chain issues. Their work is very polished, professional and timely. They went above and beyond to communicate and make sure the end product was everything I hoped for. I would highly recommend Nafees Creations.”
