“JoeRay and his team at Trim Monkey did an incredible job installing our beams and fireplace mantle. Professional, timely and meticulous attention to detail. I highly recommend Trim Monkey for any projects you have. You will not be disappointed.”

“Joeray scammed me out of my money. he start my project end of Nov 2025 he showed up late EVERYDAYplenty of excuses. I paid him what he required during the time he asked. He and his girlfriend would come to my house to work on the project after hours late at night which I allowed because I was trying to be patient and understanding. After while he wouldn't show up he left the project with so many deficiencies and incomplete pieces. Paint job horrible, wood coming apart, shelves not lined up, glass scratched up, missing the middle piece. I reached out to him beyond upset, he ignored my text and calls. He stop my project production in Jan quit in Feb I ask for $2500 back which he agreed, he gave half in Mar 2026 and is refusing to give me the other half stating that im a shitty customer trying to get over on him, when I have been patiently waiting for my money. I would have left this situation alone if he gave me my money. He bit off more than he can chew. He is absolutely unprofessional, beyond unreliable, does horrible work that he tries to blame on his staff that wasn't even present. He is completely untrustworthy and doesn't deserve any business. I try to give work to small businesses but its guys like Joeray Moreno that causes such distrust. Do not use his business. I wish I would have done research on him prior, there are others who complained about him I wish I viewed earlier. If he provides me with the remaining balance I will update this post. I have multiple text messages and pictures. He has blocked me from contacting him which is why im using social media and any outlet to warn people of his horrible behavior and work ethics. He claims to have my money but dont want to give it to me because he feels im being disrespectful for asking for it. I have screenshots of everything, messages pictures from his site which he removed. Do not invite him in your home unless you want it destroyed. He doesn't finish things he start. He is giving carpentry a bad name and making it hard for small businesses. You can go to his page and you will see my messages, which he probably removed. Horrible experience straight disgusting in all fashions. Honesty isn't apart of his vocabulary. For someone who claims to do so many jobs and have so much business cant afford to give me my remaining balance of $1250. Trash Company! If you want a half ass job by all means hire him!”

“Beware of this company. They make you pay a 50% deposit upfront. Fail to show up when scheduled. Leaves town and job often and doesn’t complete in a timely manner. Joeray Moreno committed fraud. He never completed services and didn’t deliver cabinetry. He stated he would refund in text message but 3 months have gone by now and no refund was ever given and now he fails to even respond and try to work out the refund owed for uncompleted service and products not provided. He owes me $7,000. Proceed with caution and don’t pay this guy upfront.”
