ABI WINDOWS

ABI Windows operates as a vinyl window manufacturer out of Abilene, Texas at the plant on Polaris Drive. They turn out multiple lines including the Caliber Series 500, the Caliber+ Series 700, and the Motus Series 580. The facility supplies homebuilders and building supply companies with these windows and aims for steady output on standard and higher-end projects. Production stays focused on getting orders completed and shipped without long delays.

Homeowners and delivery crews mention mixed results once windows leave the plant. One case involved a builder installing the windows and then the company sending a rep back after construction ended to straighten every grid on the house during a storm at no added charge. Drivers named Cruz Andrade and Shon handled a job in a professional manner according to the customer. Other notes cover deliveries where the listed address sent trucks circling the area and the receiving dock proved tight for backing in without issues. Some crews found the shipping side roomy with multiple doors while the glass stayed secure during the move.

Turnaround times draw comments for being reliable on the manufacturing side yet phone contact often falls short with messages left unanswered for days. Staff interactions range from helpful during drop-offs to unfriendly in person at the facility. Work stays centered on the Abilene location with product headed to builders and wholesalers in Texas and nearby states. Hours and scheduling follow what the plant can support rather than set public windows.

Feedback shows a 3.6 rating pulled from the listed reviews with repeated points on window appearance and build quality after install. Delivery logistics and address accuracy come up often along with occasional long waits for callbacks. Some reviews praise the finished product and the extra effort on fixes while others flag problems with management and employee treatment.

“New plant location is okay. Shipping side has quite a bit of room to move about in with several doors to work with. Receiving, not so much. Backing into receiving can be a challenge in order to avoid a blind-side.”

“As far as delivering goes A++ friendly and helpful. Dock is a bit tricky, but doable. Just nervous all the glass was going to tumble out the back.”

“Hello everyone! I want to share my impressions of this company. Drivers, call and check the delivery address, because the company address is incorrect. You will have to drive around the area. The staff is very unfriendly. I have a very bad impression. I do not recommend contacting them.”

“My builder chose ABI — I did not. I hadn’t even heard of them. But they installed new windows on my house and waited until the end of construction to come back with screens. When they did, they noticed that the grid in our new windows wasn’t absolutely perfect. (We had noticed too, but we weren’t bothered by it so we didn’t say anything to our builder.) The ABI rep spent hours at our house in a thunderstorm perfecting every single window grid until they were perfect — at no extra cost. So that settles it — I will never use another window company except ABI again!! There are very few companies left in this world that care that much or have that kind of integrity. I’m amazed!”

“Cruz Adrade and Shon were very professional. Thank you.”

“They never answer the phone , I leave a message two days ago still waiting to return the call , the number is posted in Google, unless they have the wrong number”

“This place is run horribly. Mistreat employees and seems as management is very incapable of running it. I don’t recommend anyone purchase from them or work there. I’ve heard horror stories from multiple current and former employees.”

“Happy with the ABI windows, great looks and good workmanship.”

“Great company to work with”
