Bunkley Electric

Bunkley Electric operates out of Abilene, Texas, at the address listed on their claimed Google profile. The company lists commercial electricians and residential electricians on its site and handles contracting, subcontracting, new builds, and home warranty repairs. Their Google profile places them in the electrician category while noting topics such as helpful staff and polite receptionist. The business states it has operated for over 50 years and relies on referrals for its work across commercial, industrial, civil, government, and non-profit projects.

Reviewers describe specific electrical jobs that match those services. One customer needed a light fixture and wall outlet installed and noted that Jacob completed the work while going beyond what was expected. Another had an electrical problem that had gone unsolved for days until Jacob arrived and located the issue. Motion flood lights were put in at one home, and the crew made sure the customer left satisfied. Shannon receives repeated mention for walking callers through every step of a job and showing options clearly.

Customers report that calls reach a front desk where Shannon or other staff answer questions and explain next steps. Some note the company stays busy, which can mean delays before work begins. One reviewer asked about service in Merkel and was told the firm handles only commercial work. Another mentioned a phone call that started with a hang-up and short answers from the receptionist. The profile lists a phone number for setting up consultations, and reviewers describe the overall process as straightforward when staff answer.

The Google rating stands at 4.6. Multiple reviews highlight courteous technicians such as Jacob and clear help from the receptionist Shannon. A few mention the company has been a steady option in Abilene for years, while others point out occasional phone issues or limits on residential calls outside the main area.

I say, "Actually I didn't hear anything and tried to call earlier so perhaps we are having a connection issue?" - She then says "Well what do you want?" I said, you know what? Never mind" (I'm removing the tone, but she was surely annoyed that she was at work and people were calling - we had a big job, but thanks for letting me know not to use you folks.”
