About
Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC runs out of Garland, Texas at 2350 Crist Rd Ste 700. The company started in 1946 and handles fire protection, life safety and security work as a full service outfit. Their list of services covers installation and service for portable extinguishers, restaurant fire suppression, special hazard systems, fire sprinklers, fire alarms, physical security, access control, CCTV and intrusion detection. They also take on design, pre-engineering, installation, testing, backflow preventers, code compliance, mass notification systems and 24 hour emergency calls across their national locations.
Customers have run into problems with leaks in the risers that led to daily flooding in the riser room. One account describes a small leak that still caused ongoing water issues, and the company refused to send anyone to correct the damage they created unless paid extra for the repair. The customer ended up calling a different outfit to stop the flooding after repeated attempts to get a follow up produced no results. Reviews note that the company charged more than other firms that would correct their own errors at no added cost.
They list 24 hour emergency service on their site and operate from multiple branches to cover work in the area. Reviewers point out high costs compared with competitors and trouble getting the company to schedule or send help when an issue arose from their own work. The address in Garland serves as the local base, and the business keeps standard contact lines open for service calls and account management.
The Google rating sits at 4 from zero reviews. Topics that come up again include extra charges for fixes and slow responses when problems need attention after the initial visit.

What Customers Say
“One of their techs caused a leak in the risers. We were flooding in our riser room from it. It was a small leak, but it was still enough to cause flooding daily. They would not come out and fix the issue that they created without me paying them to fix there mistake. This, to me, is highly unprofessional, and this company will no longer be allowed at any of my properties. I had to pay a different company to come out and fix the issue because they would never follow up or send someone out. This company is extremely expensive. More than other top quality companies who will actually fix something for free when they mess it up and are much cheaper and more reliable. This company would never schedule a time or date for work to be performed and call our property manager who is at other buildings handling scheduled contractors and repairs, and say they are there for worked and need certain things to start, unannounced and unscheduled forcing us to drop what we are doing to go get them set up and go back to our schedule. This company is not the company to hire if you need a tenant build out, service, new construction, or repairs. They are too expensive and unprofessional. No company or home”
