SS Drywall Repair

SS Drywall Repair takes care of drywall work from San Marcos, Texas. Roland runs the outfit and handles every repair himself without subcontractors. He patches holes, fixes cracks, addresses water damage and matches textures on walls and ceilings for homes in the area.

Homeowners call him for rooms that need full repairs after damage so the surfaces look untouched once finished. He has handled water damaged sections where the new texture blends right in for painting, fixed ten to twelve cracked spots across a house while protecting floors with paper and plastic, repaired extensive termite damage on walls and patched holes left from equipment mounts. Roland and Ray have also taken on external stucco cracks and ceiling work where the finish matches the original surface exactly.

Roland answers messages fast, often the same day, texts when he is on the way and shows up right on schedule. He quotes jobs after looking at photos or in person, keeps prices reasonable, explains the steps and cleans the site thoroughly before leaving. The company covers San Marcos along with New Braunfels, San Antonio, Schertz, Seguin, Canyon Lake and Austin, with jobs finished on time frames that fit the customer's schedule.

“Roland is a true professional! He was responsive, punctual and has great craftsmanship. He repaired 3 rooms in my home flawlessly like nothing ever happened! Highly recommend using his services!”

“Quality work and showed up on time. Had 2 areas in my home that needed repair due to water damage, texture matches perfectly and will blend beautifully once we paint. Highly recommend.”

“Roland and Ray completely exceeded all of our expectations! They treated our house as they would treat their own. They were meticulous about ensuring nothing got on our floors, other walls or belongings and had the floors covered with paper and the other areas covered in plastic. They did an absolutely amazing job repairing and texturing about 10 - 12 cracked drywall areas. After the job was finished we cannot even tell any cracks were ever there! A truly professional, courteous and respectful company that you can count on 100% for all of your drywall repair needs. Call SS Drywall - you will not be disappointed.”

“I was very pleased with the professionalism provided by Roland. He was punctual and explained everything in detail. His work was exceptional and I would definitely recommend S&S Drywall Repair.”

“Very professional, punctual and honest. Hard to find in a company anymore! Great work repairing our walls that had extensive termite damage. Wish I had "before" pics but believe me when I say extensive! We will definitely keep Roland's #!”

“Roland was by far the best contractor I've ever worked with, regardless of the field. His expertise was apparent from the Day 1 when, during the initial Quote, he immediately picked up on the exact type of drywall we had. He was professional when it came to the time estimates, updates, etc., and his work speaks for it self. We had a 3-day job as there were a large number of holes to patch. The holes he patched are perfectly seamless, even staring at the spot directly, I see no difference between it and the adjacent wall. I can't even remember all the places he fixed as they just look like the normal wall. If you want someone who knows there stuff, is a perfectionist, has extremely fair prices, and still gets the job down quick? Roland is by far your best bet.”

“Called Roland and sent him pictures of the drywall repairs that needed done in our home. He was responsive and attentive throughout the entire process. Got us on the schedule and showed up when he said he would and done a perfect very good quality job. We couldn’t be happier and definitely recommend SS Drywall for all your Drywall repair needs!”

“Roland repaired an external stucco crack, but insisted I have foundation inspected first to make sure my home’s foundation was secure. That transaction was separate from his work and free. He had nothing to gain from the delay. He showed up as he said he would and worked quickly. The repair looks great. It is hard to find someone you can trust these days. I am so glad I found Roland. Since he works on other types of projects as well, I have finally found someone I can rely on for numerous home projects. Second Review: September 2024 again This repair was an emergency and Roland responded quickly. The A/C flooded the attic. Roland removed the wet drywall, used a dehumidifier and fans to dry out the area, sprayed anti-microbial, then replaced the drywall. He closed off the area like a nuclear containment facility so none of the dust would get in the house. It worked…not a spec of dust anywhere in the house. Third review: October 2024 Roland came back and fixed drywall on the ceiling that had been poorly repaired by someone else previously. Nuclear containment facility was back in place and not a spec of dust in the house.”

“SS Drywall Repair did an excellent job on repairing and matching to the original texture of our ceiling! They were very responsive, timely, and had a quick turnaround time. While the price was a bit more than I expected from previous drywall services, the quality of the repair and their services I think was justified. They did a great job! Here are before and after photos.”

“We have a historic home, every room had need for repair and we wanted the best. SS Drywall delivered! From our first estimate to completion, the service and work were stellar. Roland and crew were professional, courteous and willing to work around our schedule. And most of all, his work was great! Would highly recommend.”

“Roland did a fantastic job repairing a hole in my drywall! He does quality work, and that is so rare to come by these days! Roland was on time, explained the repair process to me, and went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. He was kind and professional, and I would highly recommend his work for the San Marcos and surrounding areas!”

“He came everyday on time, kept the jobs site sparkling clean, and did outstanding work. The texture and paint matches the rest of the ceiling and walls. Rolando is a permanent repairman in my "contacts"”

“Roland and his team did a wonderful job on ceiling, wall repair, and texturing. I am beyond satisfied. He was fair and reasonable but so much more. “SS Drywall did an exceptional job! I had the problem since I bought my home and the builder repaired x 2 but the defect would manifest again after a year or so. SS Drywall researched what the problem was did the repair and guaranteed me that it was properly repaired”

“Roland is extremely professional and provided his expertise and attention to detail when repairing our drywall cracks. He was timely and extremely thorough with prep and clean up, showing he truly cares about others homes/valuables/belongings. If you’re in the same boat, we couldn’t recommend him more!”

“Roland is a great personable professional and utilized his experience, expertise, and attention to detail when repairing our drywall. He was prompt and very thorough with preparation and clean up. Everything was conducted smoothly and without complications- from the initial inquiry, to scheduling, to the day of service, and to the deposit/payment process. “Our house had a few concerning “cracks” that we feared were something serious, but they turned out to be drywall joints separating. After scrolling through Google, I came across SS Drywall Repair and their glowing reviews, and now I see exactly why they’re so highly rated. Roland came out the same day to look at the multiple areas we were worried about and gave us a very reasonable quote (plus a military discount, which we truly appreciated!). We confirmed that evening and he was incredibly flexible with scheduling. He even texted ahead of time to let us know he was on the way; communication was perfect from start to finish. The repairs took two days, and the quality is genuinely impeccable. He kept the work areas contained and cleaned up thoroughly each day, which meant a lot to us. It’s rare to find a company that treats your home with this level of care and professionalism. We feel confident trusting SS Drywall Repair with any future projects, and we will absolutely be recommending Roland to anyone who needs drywall work done. Thank you, Roland!!”

“I recently had a TV and sound bar mounted in my guest bedroom and it was a disaster. There were holes left from where the installers mis-measured and cut into the wall. I immediately reached out to Roland at SS Drywall Repair and got a response from him to come out and assess the damage. He had a quick solution and fair pricing. If you want someone who will actually call you back for drywall work give SS Drywall Repair a call. Here is the before and after.”
