Everett Taylor Electric
Electrician · Abilene, TX
About
Everett Taylor Electric works as electricians out of Bells, Texas. They focus on electrical installations and maintenance for homes and properties in the region. Their work includes running new service lines and addressing power disruptions that often hit during strong winds or storms. Homeowners turn to them for getting electricity set up on undeveloped land or fixing ongoing issues with reliability. The company has been around handling these kinds of jobs for local customers who rely on steady power for daily needs like working from home. Calls often come in when power flickers on and off repeatedly, affecting everything from appliances to office equipment.
Electricians from the company handle property installations where they run lines for new service but have cut water lines in the process, leaving homeowners to call plumbers for repairs and face extra bills around two hundred dollars each. Service calls address repeated outages tied to weather, including cases where power drops multiple times in a day and knocks out computers used for work. Technicians like Kyle get contacted about these problems, though fixes do not always resolve the damage or restore service fast enough to prevent food loss in refrigerators after overnight waits stretching from ten at night until five thirty the next morning. Some jobs involve switching customers onto new lines in areas like Sweetwater, where the setup keeps power steady through storms for certain subdivisions while others nearby go dark.
Customers point to slow response times during outages, property damage during installs, and extra costs from related repairs as main complaints, with communication often falling short when issues get raised. A few note quicker service calls and better storm performance once lines are in place, but the pattern of delays and added expenses drags down the overall marks on speed, quality, and price. What Customers Say
“we are new customers to taylor electric co-op and anytime there are strong winds our power will go out multiple times a day and sometimes it happens back to back within seconds. i work from home and this issue has caused multiple problems with my dell computer box. i called 6/17/2025 and they said they would send someone out but could not give me a time or a day. it’s been two weeks and no one has gotten back to me. this issue continues to happen any time the winds are strong, which is often. unfortunately i have no other options for an electric company.”
“Had electric installed on my property and when electric was installed Taylor Electric cut our water line. We had a plumber come and fix leak and discovered that Taylor Electric had repaired it nevertheless we got a plumbing bill for 200 and a water bill for 200 I spoke to Kyle about it and no help so we ate out 400 bucks . So don't let the electric fix plumbing. I thought I liked them but not that much now.”
“We have been with Taylor Electric Coop for several years and we have had nothing but great service!! We switched to them when they were installing new service lines to our area in Sweetwater. All others in our subdivision loose power with every storm except us. Their service call are quick and employees are very polite and are like you best next door neighbor!! Price is very comparable to our other electrical area provider (TXU) , but Taylor Electric Coop's service and dependability out ranks them for sure. Will stay with them forever!!”
“Being a Taylor Electric Customer I don't recommend you use this company due to the long wait time for power to come back on. June 19 10pm-June 20 5:30 am I still don't have power and I have to throw away all my refrigerator food cause they arn't cool anymore. Before this review gets a positive review they need to be faster on reinstating power before I rate it 4 stars. It is upsetting that AEP and WTU where able to turn power back on before Taylor electric and I spend from $180-200 monthly for power.”
“I have been with this company for a little over a year now. This has been one of the better companies that has handled my electricity and internet. The technicians are always friendly and think out of the box to find solutions that work for my situation.”
