What Customers Say
“From the minute Spencer arrived, we knew we’d get great service. He was incredibly pleasant to deal with. He found the electrical problem immediately and fixed it. So happy with the service that we are scheduling a HVAC service. Thank you!”
“As a homeowner, we have not had the best experiences with certain trades. That was definitely not the case with Wighton! From the beginning of the process, every employee we dealt with, was incredibly professional AND respected our home as they carried out the project. The representative who first came to assess our needs was timely, and informative. The superintendent who came for the walk-through to confirm that the notes he had, matched what we were expecting, also was very thorough. The employees who carried out and performed the actual project showed up ON TIME, were so respectful of our home, they were courteous, knowledgeable and professional. I will not hesitate to call upon Wighton again, should the need arise. Every employee who represented Wighton, was outstanding and so professional. We love our ministry Split unit. THANK-YOU!”
“Your agent was very professional and did a wonderful job getting my water heater working again. He said that I probably need to get a better one. What do you recommend? Thank you.”
“Nate was able to troubleshoot quickly and resolve the issues with my air conditioning unit. We were very satisfied with Wightons! Keep up the great work!”
“$750/hr is just a little too much.. My 1 star review has everything to do with their business tactics and not with the quality of their service. Aaron did a fine job of replaceing my kitchen faucet and repairing the flapper on a toilet, but paying almost $800 for almost 1 hour exactly of labor and about $20 in parts is just not ethical. Their process is to schedule an appointment without giving you a price, just a 'service fee'. When they get onsite they take advantage of the fact that you have been waiting for the appointment and need the problems resolved. I would normally fix my own toilets but I just had back surgery and could not this time. Upon arriving they give a price for the job. In this case it was $376 to install a new kitchen faucet that I had already purchased, and $415 to fix an upstairs toilet. They don't give an estimate of time, so I assumed it was going to take hours to fix them both. Less than 30 minutes into the job, the kitchen faucet was installed, and 28 minutes after that the toilet was repaired. So, their effective hourly rate for my job was over $750/hr. I was told "well if there were complications and that same job took many hours, we would not have charged more, it would have been the same price". That's all good, but don't charge me for what might have happened, charge me a fair wage per hour and then bill me for the time and parts at the end. Yes, I signed and agreed to it and didn't complain until after I paid the bill, but because of my back surgery, I needed it done and could not wait to get other prices. So, I won't be using this company anymore simply because of their business ethics. Quite ridiculous and they should be ashamed of themselves.”
