About

Metro Electrical Llc operates as a local electrician outfit based right in Amarillo, TX. They handle electrical work across residential properties, with owner Jeff Girard involved in oversight alongside team members like Jeff and Olivia. The company takes on projects that range from straightforward fixes to larger remodel support, and customers note they show up to address issues in homes throughout the area. Homeowners in Amarillo often deal with aging wiring and weather-related electrical demands, so outfits like this focus on keeping systems running without unnecessary delays. Their approach centers on getting jobs done as promised while keeping pricing upfront during the work.

Electricians from Metro Electrical Llc perform tasks such as removing old pool spa lights and prepping them for new installations, along with full electrical setups in big remodels like those in 3,000 square foot homes. Two techs handled one pool light job with clear explanations for customers who ask plenty of questions, and they stuck around to finish without rushing. On other jobs, Jeff and Olivia have coordinated multiple projects to meet deadlines, staying transparent about costs so homeowners know what to expect. They work on contracts around the $5,400 range for significant home updates, focusing on practical fixes rather than overcomplicating things. In Amarillo's mix of new builds and older houses, this means dealing with everything from basic wiring updates to handling calls about service interruptions.

Reviews for Metro Electrical Llc show real inconsistency in how the work lands with customers. Some praise the team for finishing projects on schedule, explaining details patiently, and charging fair prices without surprises, which builds repeat business. Others report poor communication, including phone hang-ups during calls and technicians walking off mid-job when they decide the scope feels too small, even on major remodels. This leaves homeowners stuck and frustrated, especially older clients who expect steady follow-through. Speed and quality get mixed marks depending on the crew sent out, while price transparency helps in the better cases but does not always offset the reliability issues. What Customers Say

I have worked with Jeff and Olivia at Metro Electric on multiple projects and have had nothing but great experiences. They do what it takes to finish on time, treat you fairly, and are open about pricing. That can be hard to find these days!

Absolutely the worst service ever. Takes advantage of the elderly. The woman who answers the phone hangs up on you when you call. She hung up on me twice. This woman should be reprimanded at the least or fired. When I called back and asked for the owner by name, Jeff Girard, she said he was not available and hung up on me again. There are plenty of people who can provide better customer service and are in need of employment. Don't use Metro Electric LLC ask your friends for a referral else where. 9/12/18 No, I was not applying for a job. I was assisting an elderly customer of mine who received inferior service from Metro and asked for my help. The woman who answered was rude beyond belief.

Most unprofessional electrician I have ever worked with. The electrician walked off my job midway because he said that the job was "too small". A 3,000 s/f home undergoing a significant remodel and a $5,400 electrical contract was too small. Buyer beware this guy will leave you high and dry.

Two techs came out to remove a pool spa light and prepare for a replacement. Very professional and very patient explaining things to me as I tend to ask a lot of questions. Wouldn't hestitate to use them again.

Becareful with this maniacs, if you see a van with this logo move over, they don't care about road safety, they use the shoulders to pass and drive with one hand on the phone and one on the steering wheel. Kamikazees!
