“Attempted to Cancel service due to ongoing outages and downtime. Tried to cancel over the phone and was advised that I could not. I was told the only way to cancel was to return the rented modem to the store and cancel in person. Advised the store hours were open till 5 pm. When I got to the angleton location at 3 pm the store was closed and the hours on the door showed they close at 12 pm. Advised to leave equipment in the drop box and they could track the equipment to my account. After dropping off the equipment I left out of town assuming they would cancel my service. It’s been over 3 weeks of constant calling sparklight. They billed me and did not cancel my service. No record they received my modem. Called at least 10 times and advised there is no way to contact the local angleton office except to go in person. While I’m still out of town that’s not possible. Advised multiple times that they would put a ticket in to try to locate the modem and that they would call me back in 24 to 48 hours. It’s been over three weeks and nobody has contacted me back.”

“Service is bad, always dropping connections. Bill is constantly going up while service gets worse. So bad that neighborhood is switching to starlink.”
“My family and I have been stuck with Spark for nearly five years now, and honestly, we’re just tired of it. We want better service, but it feels like we’re being boxed in. It seems like our own mayor has ties to the franchise Spotlight, and that’s the reason other providers aren’t allowed into Columbia Lakes even though there’s already an NTNT line running right across the street at Bar X Ranch. It’s heartbreaking that in a country where every American should have the right to choose and access reliable internet, our options are being restricted because of one person’s control. It doesn’t feel fair, and it leaves us feeling powerless.”
“About as reliable as the ice cream machine at your favorite McDonald's. Like cool, they have high-speed fiber internet.. but is it ever really on? Big fight tonight, Super Bowl, World Series.. you name it, it's almost guaranteed to be an internet outage that night with barely any information as to what's going on or when it'll be resolved.”
