Energy Renovation Center Inc.

Energy Renovation Center Inc. works as electricians based in Arlington, Texas. They focus on residential electrical upgrades that include solar panel hookups, panel modifications, and battery backups for homes. Local customers contact them when they need reliable power systems that hold up under daily use and occasional storms that hit the region. The company handles jobs that tie new equipment into existing setups without disrupting the rest of the house wiring. Their crews manage both the sales side and the physical installs, keeping projects moving from start to finish in the Arlington area.

They install full solar arrays with batteries placed hundreds of feet from the main house and fenced for safety, as one customer had done two years ago with Joey overseeing the details to match the requested layout. The same team added backup batteries to existing equipment and repaired an old solar inverter on another job, with Mike and Justin handling the technical fixes after a detailed inspection. Crews also managed roof and solar work eight years back, protecting patios and landscaping during the process while answering questions about how the systems connect and operate. These electricians work on code-related panel changes and system tie-ins that keep power flowing steadily for homeowners.

Customers give them solid marks for work quality and response speed, noting that installs finish on time and hold up without repeated callbacks. Reviewers mention crews that stay professional during long explanations of the electrical steps and clean up thoroughly after tying in new components. That consistent approach to getting systems running right the first time builds the overall rating. DIRT Score 4.53 from 63 reviews on Finds.

“I strongly advise against using Energy Renovation Center. During my solar installation, they installed a non-Square D breaker into a Square D electrical panel something that raises serious concerns about code compliance and manufacturer specifications. Since the installation, an adjacent circuit has repeatedly tripped even when not in use, indicating a likely issue with breaker compatibility or improper installation. This is not just an inconvenience, this is a potential electrical safety hazard involving the main panel. I have attempted to get this corrected for nearly a year. Their Riverside, CA office has since closed, and despite repeated outreach, I have received little to no response from the company. At this point, I am escalating the issue to the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) and other authorities. If you are considering this company, understand that you may have difficulty getting them to stand behind their work. I would strongly recommend choosing a contractor that follows proper electrical standards and remains responsive after installation.”

“Great experience pre and post sale. System was installed quickly 2 years ago and still works as promised. Joey personally helped with my install making sure everything was how I wanted it. We asked to have it installed hundreds of feet away from the house and fenced off and it was done! Battery backup lets us use our stored energy for evening use and peace of mind during Texas weather. The mobile app works great and is easy to use. Highly recommend!”

“Joey over at Energy Renovation Center sold and installed my new roof and solar 8 years ago. The crew was super knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I had a ton of questions and they didn’t mind educating me on the process. They protected my patio and landscaping from debris and cleaned up beyond my expectations. I’m super happy with their work and have sent many of my friends over for the same service. All super satisfied. I researched and researched solar companies and everyone said avoid the new companies as they pop up and disappear leaving you stranded on warranty work. Joeys organization has been around a long time and are here to stay. You can trust them with your home. My electric bill was reduced by over 90%. I love my ERC solar!!!”

“Very satisfied with our new Franklin system. Energy Renovation Center has gone above and beyond to help us with our existing equipment issues while adding backup batteries to our home. Mike and Justin are very knowledgeable and have fixed issues with my old Solar inverter after completing a very detailed walk through of my new Franklin system. I would highly recommend Energy Center!”

“Energy Renovation Center did an outstanding job with our home solar project with FranklinWH batteries. Thankful for their hard work and diligence to setting us up for success. Super grateful and happy we went solar with you!”
