What Customers Say
“I had a very disappointing experience with Schafer Electric. The final cost of the project ended up being THREE TIMES what it should have been, significantly exceeding the expectations set at the start. Throughout the process, the communication was poor. I was rarely kept in the loop regarding the timeline or the mounting costs. The owner is rude. To make matters worse, the actual quality of the work was inept. For the premium price they charged, I expected professional results, but the execution was sloppy and lacked the technical expertise you would expect from a licensed contractor. I would not recommend their services if you are looking for fair pricing, clear communication, or competent electrical work.”
“Electric Panel on my house had to be replaced. All of the Schafer employees that I communicated with were helpful, responsive and understanding about the delays caused by PG&E as well as the County. Schafer electricians who came to my house were on time and clearly explained all of the requirements and challenges of the project. And they always cleaned up before leaving.I would highly recommend Schafer.”
“Ben and his team played a key role in helping with my insurance claim and getting the electrical repairs done in a timely and professional manner. Very nice people - I highly recommend their services. Thank you Ben!”
“Ben and his team have delivered 5 star service in the three homes we have owned over the last decade. Prompt, knowledgeable, and transparent, they are true professionals. Time and time again we trust Schafer Electric for all of our electrical needs, big and small.”
“Recently, my spouse and I wanted to get our Level 2 EVSE relocated to a more convenient location and, at the same time, get some dedicated circuits installed for woodworking tools. I spoke to many companies for estimates and opinions on how we could avoid using conduit on the outside of my house. The particulars make the install a bit challenging -- and several local companys said they wouldn't know for sure until they cut my drywall open, and at that point there was still a chance they might need to run conduit ANYWAY. Ben from Schafer Electric convinced me they could do it without conduit and even had a drywaller/painter he recommended. My walls are textured, and matching texture is very hard ... it's even harder to hide a repair from someone who has an eye for imperfections ... I was skeptical. On install day, the guys showed up and got to work. They were very professional, careful, and left each work area clean. Ben's suggested drywaller/painter left my wall looking perfect. Legitimately, an artist.”
