What Customers Say

First impression: the campus was easier to deal with than I expected. Parking was simple, there was plenty of open space with trees and a pond, and the students and staff I talked to were friendly about pointing me in the right direction. The cafeteria had a lot of choices too, from grill food to Mexican food, sushi, drinks, and even microwaves if you bring your own lunch. Some of the older buildings do blend together, so better signs would make it smoother for new people... Especially when trying to find places like the gym. Overall, it felt like a solid community college with good resources, active events, and a campus that’s clearly being updated.

Sierra College is an outstanding educational institution known for its strong academic programs, supportive faculty, and welcoming campus environment. The college offers a wide range of courses, career training opportunities, and transfer pathways that help students achieve their educational and professional goals. Students often praise the knowledgeable instructors, small class sizes, and personalized support available both inside and outside the classroom. The campus is well maintained, featuring modern facilities, comfortable study spaces, and resources that contribute to student success. Beyond academics, Sierra College provides numerous clubs, activities, and community events that help create a vibrant and engaging student experience. Whether pursuing a degree, developing new skills, or preparing to transfer to a university, students can find valuable opportunities and support here. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a quality, affordable, and rewarding higher education experience in the Roseville area.

Absolutely loved everything about Sierra college. Found it easy to navigate registration, the campus is nice, the teachers were great and passionate. I transferred to a new college where everything has been a nightmare. Makes me realize how amazing Sierra was and that not every school is as organized, on top of things and prioritizing of the students. I miss you Sierra !

My first time on campus for Earth Day Festival today. 1 🌟 for friendly and serious people , "happy to be here" students 1 🌟 for a lots of green spaces, a pond, trees. 1 🌟 for plenty of parking options for students, guests, staff members. The multi floor parking garage is impressive, parking ticket machine to purchase ticket is available . 1 🌟 for the multiple choices of food in the cafeteria. Example: open "salat bar" (open sliced eggs is a risk for samunella) , "the grill" for different fries and burgers. "PASTA" ... and "Mexican food" burritos, tacos etc. "Sushi" the chef was preparing fresh sushi rolls (and I bought them! Very delicious!) Plenty of beverage choices available! Prices should be lower for students! The Cashier managed the line of hungry students with 2 scanners great multi tasking for her! She gave me a bag for my food! I saw 2 or 3 microwaves for students , they can warm up they own food.. plus for coffee lovers: Starbucks! One and only contra: the buildings are kind of old, they all look almost the same. When asked a student or adult they could gave me a clear direction where I wanted to go. They said straight, left ,right etc. But when it comes to name a building.. that was missing. Usually with different colors of roof or doors or anything different from each other with bigger signs would be awesome and better! Not just for outside people but also it can help new students or ESL Students. I liked to see the Aquatics and Tennis courts. There was a lot of constructions going on on multiple areas . It's still manageable to drive through and also a good sign that this College is growing. I can't say to much about the education programs in detail, but what I saw , that it is acceptable average.

I enjoy studying at this community college a lot. I like the wide selection of classes for it that often meet my interests and expectations for my future jobs and finances. Also, I'm lucky to have been on campus for the school's 90th anniversary. Yeah seriously, the school is that old! Happy 90th Anniversary Sierra College!
