About
Alba Energy Llc works as an electrician based in Austin Texas with a focus on solar energy setups for homes. They handle residential electrical needs tied to solar power including installations battery systems and panel adjustments across the area. The company operates in a region where hot summers and storms put extra demand on reliable power sources so homeowners often turn to them for backup options that keep lights on during outages. Their background centers on solar projects that connect panels to existing home wiring and manage the electrical side of going off grid or adding storage.
They install full solar arrays with battery backups that store power for use at night or during blackouts and they handle tricky jobs like taking down Tesla panels for roof repairs then putting them back up afterward. Crews coordinate with other companies when needed such as Tesla support and technicians like David walk through the steps so owners know what to expect on timelines and connections. Jobs often involve fixing wiring issues after storms or setting up systems that qualify for local rebates with teams showing up on schedule and leaving yards clean once the work wraps. Homeowners note that these electricians manage the back and forth on parts and permits without dragging things out longer than necessary.
Customers keep coming back for the clear updates on job progress and the solid results on solar installs that hold up in Texas weather with praise for fast replies from staff and crews that treat properties with care during panel moves or battery additions. Reviews highlight strong marks on communication and quality of the finished electrical work though some mention longer waits when warranty claims involve outside partners and no extra credit for delays. Overall the record shows steady performance on speed and getting systems running right the first time. DIRT Score 4.48 from 53 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“Alba Energy has completely failed to honor their warranty. After multiple emails and calls, they stopped responding altogether, leaving unresolved issues with my solar system. Extremely disappointing service and lack of accountability and employee professionalism, and absence of management. I strongly recommend others think twice before trusting this company with such a major investment.”
“I can’t say enough good things about the folks at Alba Energy. They were great to work with, always responded quickly and kept me abreast of what was going on. David explained the process in a way that I could understand. I’m very happy with my system. Having the battery backup gives me peace of mind. The phone app is awesome and shows me where the energy is coming from and going to and how much I’m using and the battery level - all in real time. And, Alba’s quote was considerably less than two other solar contractors I contacted. Some contractors are taking advantage of people, but not the folks at Alba. You won’t be disappointed.”
“I hired Alba to remove and reinstall my Tesla panels so I could have the roof replaced. Tesla was a pain to deal with, but Alba was great and made it as easy as they could. Communication was excellent and the crew that came out was top notch. Very respectful and genuine. They left my property in better shape than it was when they got here. If I ever have to do anything with solar again, Alba is who I’ll call.”
“Things started off good, but right around 6 months in my solar panels stopped working. It took 3 full months of Alba and Tesla going back and forth about how to actually fix my issue before I had solar again. Then despite me having to wait 3 months for a fix, Alba energy offered no form of compensation. I guess it’s just screw the customer in their eyes. So disappointing. You’d think that if it took you 3 full months to fix one set of solar panels, ad a business you’d want to do right by your customer, but that’s not how they do business. Good to know, and good to let everyone else know. If you have options at solar, look elsewhere. These folks do not care about you really.”
“We invested $30,000 in a solar array system from Alba Energy, and while the installation process was smooth, our post-installation experience has been disappointing. Our initial point of contact was Craig, an outstanding salesman who unfortunately has passed away. Craig was exceptional; he worked with us every step of the way, handled all documentation, coordinated with our contractor to get the right angle for our carport installation, and assisted us with the solar credit information for our accountant. We can't say enough good things about him. Our array performed well for about a year, but then a couple of panels failed. We attempted to contact Craig only to find out he had left the company. Our new contact was Michaela, and the experience was completely different. Calls were not returned, and it took months before a subcontracted group was sent to do a warranty replacement on the panels. A non-producing panel equals money lost and a decreased return on investment, which solar is sold as. After another five months, three more panels went out. Again, contacting Alba for warranty service was a nightmare. Calls and emails went unanswered, and Michaela's occasional promises to get someone on it led nowhere. After months of frustration, we finally contacted another Enphase installer who could help. We transferred our warranty to them, and they promptly replaced the panels. Since then, our system has been running strong. Unfortunately, Alba Energy fits the mold of many companies that plague the solar industry. They'll sell to you all day but abandon you when you need service. You're on your own.”
