About

Armadillo Electrical Services operates as electricians out of Austin, TX, taking on residential and commercial jobs across the city. Homeowners and business owners call them when standard fixes fall short or when problems linger after multiple visits from other crews. They step in for outages, breaker issues, and full electrical troubleshooting that requires careful diagnosis rather than guesswork. The team stays ready for after-hours calls and keeps projects moving even when parts delay the finish. In a place like Austin where older homes mix with newer builds, these electricians handle the mix of wiring challenges that come with Texas weather and growth.

Damien has sorted out electrical faults that left previous vendors stumped after three attempts, staying in touch while parts arrived and finishing the repair cleanly. Damian took a late Saturday night call at 2130 for a house with no lights, quoted a fair price on the spot for swapping a 60A breaker outside, and showed up fast to explain the cause and complete the work. Gary handles ongoing commercial accounts with quick replies and steady results on jobs big or small. Geryn covers accounts like Thunderbird Coffee shops, showing up competent and steady for repairs that keep the businesses running without extra downtime.

Customers keep coming back because the crew shows up fast when lights go out or breakers fail, gets the quality of the repair right the first time, and charges a price that matches the work without surprises. Communication stays clear from the first call through completion, and the same names like Damien, Gary, and Geryn earn repeat mentions for reliability on both home and shop calls. That record of steady performance on speed, quality, price, and communication adds up across the jobs they finish. DIRT Score 3.65 from 17 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

Damien at Armadillo was stellar. He diagnosed and fixed the electrical problems. The previous vendor came three times and never figured out what was wrong. Damien was polite, professional, and kept in communication with me while we waited for parts to arrive. I haven't expected this high quality of service in almost 20 years. He is that good.

I called the number on the website at 2130 Saturday night because the lights were out in my house, and a 60A breaker outside the house needed to be replaced. Damian gave me a more than reasonable estimate for the work and said that he was on his way. Damian arrived quickly, explained the reason for the breaker failure, replaced the breaker, tested the other breakers, tested the power usage and went about his way. This was a great experience and I would eagerly recommend Armadillo to any friend or family member who needed home electrical services.

We use Armadillo for all of our commercial electrical needs. They are responsive, professional, and always do an excellent job! I work directly with Gary who is trustworthy and always responds very quickly. No job is too big or too small. Highly recommend!

We love Armadillo! I own two coffee shops in Austin, TX (Thunderbird Coffee) and Armadillo is our exclusive vendor for electrical repair. Geryn in particular who services our account is a 10/10 when it comes to electricians. He's competent, responsive and also just a very kind human being. Their pricing is fair. Their warranties are rock solid. Can't recommend enough!

Daren arrived on time. I explained our issue with the oven, he checked it out and explained the problem. He repaired it promptly and left it better then when he arrived. We both were baffled how someone could of wired the 220 plug incorrectly. All good and if we need an electrician again we'll call Armadillo Electric.
