Sweetwater Electric Llc
Electrician · Austin, TX
About
Sweetwater Electric Llc works out of Austin Texas as an electrician serving homeowners across the city. They handle the electrical demands that come with older homes mixed with newer builds in a place where summer heat and sudden freezes put real strain on systems. Customers reach out when lights flicker or panels need attention and the crew shows up ready to sort through the wiring without turning the whole house upside down. The company stays focused on straightforward fixes and installs that match what Austin residents actually run into day to day.
They take care of full electrical upgrades and targeted repairs like swapping out old panels or running new lines for added circuits. One crew helped with a water heater swap that involved careful attic work to lower the old unit and set the new Rheem in place under a twelve year warranty. Another call came in during a freeze for a water softener that had tripped an alarm and Reggie had it sorted in half an hour while the warranty covered the parts. Jim walks through every step with homeowners so the pricing and timeline stay clear from the start and the whole job finishes without loose ends.
Customers keep coming back because the work holds up and the response stays quick even on tough days. High marks land on quality and speed with every detail checked before the crew leaves and no shortcuts on the materials. Homeowners note the team stays professional through messy jobs like draining clogged tanks and they keep costs in line with the scope even when the unit itself runs higher. What Customers Say
“I had an outstanding experience with Sweetwater Home Services from start to finish. Our salesperson, Jim, was absolutely fantastic—he was thorough, helpful, kind, friendly, and incredibly charismatic, making the whole process a real pleasure. He took the time to explain everything in detail, which made it easy for my wife and me to make an informed decision without any pressure. The very next day, the installer arrived right on time and had everything set up in about an hour. The work was quick, clean, and professional. We couldn’t be happier with the results and the service overall. Highly recommend Sweetwater to anyone in need of “fountain of youth” quality of water.”
“The team is very professional. Sweetwater Home Services working together with Home Depot for installation projects. Reggie very kind. The whole process installation very well done. I am happy with my new water heater Rheem performance gas water heater 9 yrs manufacturer warranty and have self cleaning from Home Depot. Installation including new pan, parts, expansion tank and insulation. Will call them again if my other one is stop working meanwhile at this moment still working ok.”
“We had our water softener installed by Sweetwater like 7 years ago. We took it with us when we moved to a new house. Alarm went off so I called them, they were out in like a day, even despite the freeze and they had it fixed in like 30 minutes and it was all under warranty. Very happy that we went with Sweetwater. I was stressing trying to figure out how to fix it on my own. Great customer service.”
“The team was very prompt and replaced my clogged water heater in quick time. It was a chore to drain it and when it was, they skillfully lowered it from my attic. The Rheem unit was installed with precision and did not take long. The cost was PRICEY although I purchased a 50 gallon unit with a 12 year warranty. The unit has WiFi hookup and leak detection sensor. The scheduler Mark called me and completely explained the process. They purchase the water heaters from Home Depot along with all the needed supplies to get the job done. I did appreciate their service but never received a bill of sale from Sweet Water Home Services after a month and no word about a post installation inspection as I also had to pay for a permit to have the work done. Was told an inspector would check their work with a few weeks. They processed my payment with no hesitation and still do not respond to my emails. Would consider providing a higher review score if / when I get my bill of sale. Need proof as the unit and install was over $2,000. Thanks”
“$10,000 for a carbon filter air purifier, water softener, and RO system. Had I known better I would’ve bought each device separately and paid a contractor to install it, and probably would’ve saved half of that. 11% On the interest rate. Definitely buyers remorse.”
