The Perfect Light

The Perfect Light operates as an electrician and lighting contractor based in Austin, Texas. The company handles electrical tasks such as outlet installation, fixture work, panel upgrades, EV charger setups, and safety inspections. They also install and maintain Christmas lighting displays along with landscape lighting for homes. Micah works as the Austin regional manager, and other staff like Cody and Sunshine handle quotes and on-site work. Service reaches Austin plus West Lake Hills, Lakeway, Bee Cave, Rollingwood, Dripping Springs, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Steiner Ranch, and nearby Hill Country spots.

Homeowners call them for holiday setups that include tree wraps in red and white patterns plus icicle lights on front yards and trees. Some need landscape lighting serviced after prior companies left systems unreliable or incomplete. Micah and Cody visit to review existing lights, offer design options that fit budgets, and complete installs within days. Teams return fast to fix any outages or adjust timers, leaving displays that neighbors notice and that hold up through the season.

They answer calls promptly and deliver bids with clear details on costs and designs. Communication stays steady from first contact through completion, and issues get resolved without long delays. Work happens across the listed Austin area and Hill Country locations. Hours run eight to five thirty Monday through Friday, ten to two on Saturday, and closed Sunday.

The company carries a 4.9 rating from 122 reviews. Reviewers note the professional team for Christmas lights and exterior lighting, along with fast setup and easy scheduling. Many return each year for the same reliable service on holiday displays and outdoor systems.

“The Perfect Light created the perfect Christmas display for my front yard. The lights made me smile as well as the neighbors and others who drove by. They did a red and white peppermint wrap in the trees along with icicle lights. Fantastic customer service and the folks installed and installing the lights could not have been better. Can't wait for Christmas 2026!”

“It has been a pleasure working with The Perfect Light for the past 2 years. 100% professional from initial contact, to receiving quote, through installation of our Holiday lights. Stunning. Only one problem, and it was quickly resolved. My wife, friends, and neighbors think they are beautiful. Thank you The Perfect Light, especially to Austin regional manager, Micah. Highly recommend.”

“The Perfect Light does THE BEST holiday lights around! They are also super attentive if anything isn’t working or needs to be adjusted. Love their care & attention!”

“Over the years, I have used several landscape lighting companies to install and maintain the lighting around my home. Dealing with them was always a hassle. You had to chase them to get anything done, they did not do what they said they would do, and their work never held up. I enjoy my yard at night, and I want it always to look great, so I have always found landscape lighting frustrating. It was time again for the system serviced, so I looked online and contacted a couple different companies to have quotes done on service. This is when I found Cody and The Perfect Light. Cody came out to my house, looked at the hodgepodge of lighting I had installed, had several suggestions off the top of his head, and said he would be happy to come up with some options on paper so we could discuss further. He presented me with three different options; a simple service of my existing system, a replacement of my existing bulbs in order for all the lights to match in tone and output, and a whole new system. I was not in the market for a new system, but upon Cody’s urging, I at least took the time to hear him through. He proposed that he and his team come out and do a lighting demo, includi”

“Micah and his team do a fantastic job. They made our backyard look magical for the holidays. They also respond quickly if we had any small issue with our lighting I would highly recommend them for your holiday lights - or any outdoor lights”

“Easy to work with, they gave us a beautiful design then installed perfectly. Nice people with a great mission.”

“The Perfect Light did a great job putting up our Christmas lights. The electrical cords are invisible and the lights are perfectly placed. This is our fourth year using the company. They were very helpful with changing the timer. Our house looks beautiful.”

“Working with Micah and Sunshine and the teams at Perfect Light has been the best experience for several years now. In particular, this last year they went over and above to create a unique and colorful tree wrap for us. We were not sure exactly what we wanted but they took the time and care to create options and make it perfect for us. We appreciated their attention to detail and all their efforts to make sure we were happy with the finished product. We look forward to working with them on more ideas next year too! Thank you all so very much!”

“This is an amazing company. Seriously professional and efficient. The guys are great and do a good job. My only complaint (and it’s a small one) is that when they packed up and left, they left a lot of trash. Cut up extension cord pieces, lots of the black plastic spike things, cut up light string pieces etc. but still love them.”

“Perfect light perfectly decorated my house for Christmas. The garland swags and candy cane wraps are a show stopper.”

“What a great company to work with. They were quick with the initial meeting and quick to get the lights up and going. I would gladly recommend them.”

“The Perfect Light has a reliable staff that comes quickly if something goes wrong with your lights. They are professional in every way. I love the lights I have now and plan to purchase more every year.”

“Micah and his team are amazing. We wanted to surprise our children with a winter wonderland this year and they delivered within 5 days of getting an estimate. Micah does a great job of suggesting alternatives so you remain within your budget and the installation team is best in class. “I saw an installation being done and snapped a pic of their truck so I could remember the number to call. When your first experience is a phone conversation with Sunshine, you know it is going to be great! Micah was just as awesome! He drew up ideas on the spot and offered an array of cost options! We could not be more pleased. The installation team was courteous and accommodation and left everything ready to twinkle and shine. What more could we ask for the Holiday Season! Awesome company interaction!”

“My church started using The Perfect Light some years ago to dress up our exterior with lights and garlands for the Christmas season. The only thing that causes me to not give them a full 5 stars is that their installers have made some mistakes hanging lights, despite the fact that nothing changes from year to year. In their defense, our Perfect Light contact has always rectified the problem correctly and promptly. Our little country church is a landmark for people in our area and everyone loves it when we light up the church for the season. I would recommend The Perfect Light for outdoor and landscaping lighting to anyone.”

“Moved to a new house in the hill country and really wanted to something special for Christmas - called a ton of companies and were never really thrilled until we got to sit down with Micah who took us through all the options. He and his team worked on a design that fit our budget, and then came out super fast to get everything installed. Extremely professional and fast! Save yourself time and instead of calling anyone else, start with them. We’ll be using them for all our lighting needs from now on.”

“The Perfect Light is great to work with and they did a beautiful job on our tree wrapping for 2 years now! The area manager, Micah, is responsive, personable, professional, communicates well, and made our experience a pleasure. Our lights were admired by everyone and really helped make the season bright! I highly recommend The Perfect Light!”

“I called to inquire and had an appointment the very next day with Micah. He was so professional and presented a quote with great design ideas and options. After selecting red & white icicles — they were installed beautifully within 24 hours! Not only were the lights magical and dreamy and made my holidays — the whole experience and customer service was magical. I’m so excited to have found the Perfect Light and look forward to being a return customer next year.”
