“This company has been working on a house in our neighbourhood for a while now and they continually park over the sidewalk all day, everyday. This is a very high traffic pedestrian area and it forces people to either walk in the road or around their giant trucks in the icy part of the driveway. Its a high pedestrian traffic neighbourhood near U of A and there are seniors walking dogs, university students, kids walking to school, etc. etc. Their ongoing behaviour is causing a very dangerous situation. Residents have told the workers on several occasions that this is actually illegal and there has been no response or respect for the residents here. 311 has and will continue to been notified. Response to Owner - Thanks for the response and action. But I really don't care if parking is a challenge for you (or anyone else working there). Its something you should consider when bidding a project. Just because you guys are too lazy to go get a temporary contractor parking permit is no reason for someone to get hit by a car or slip and break their leg on the ice.”
