About

Blackfoot Electrical Services works as electricians out of Channelview, Texas and takes on residential and commercial electrical jobs across the area. They cover home wiring fixes, new house setups, and bigger service calls that come up in local properties. Notes from their operations list commercial work, signal and utility installs, industrial jobs, and residential specialty tasks, all handled with licensed and bonded crews that show up for emergency needs. Homeowners in Channelview deal with typical Texas heat and storms that knock out power or expose old wiring, so the company steps in for those everyday electrical repairs that keep lights and outlets running right.

Technicians like Britney walk customers through full home electrical setups even when the process drags on from other delays, keeping things moving with steady help. In one case Charlie Bowen showed up on a job and went above what was asked, taking real pride in sorting out the mess. Another call had them dealing with house wiring that acted up at random, outlets dead on some days and switches that did nothing until someone traced every line and got power back where it belonged. On a different job they installed skirting but left damaged wiring in multiple spots that later needed another crew to find and correct before it turned into bigger trouble.

Customers mention solid communication from some techs and real attention during tough setups, yet others point out quality slips that left unsafe conditions behind, which pulls the overall marks down on price and speed too. The mixed feedback from ten reviews shows clear differences in how each job turned out depending on the crew. DIRT Score 2.85 from 10 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

Edit: the issues were even worse than we thought, we had electrical issues again. A different contractor came out to inspect and found that que Blackfoot installed the skirting they damaged wiring in multiple locations, creating unsafe conditions and potential fire hazards: We worked with Blackfoot through Palm Harbor of Houston, and the experience was extremely frustrating. Their work was subpar, and their communication was even worse. Neither company took responsibility, constantly passing the blame back and forth—Palm Harbor blamed Blackfoot, and Blackfoot blamed Palm Harbor. As customers, it felt like it was our fault for not being more direct. We had to constantly ask for updates, and when they installed the skirting, they damaged the electrical components, causing part of the home to lose power. When we reached out, no one had any answers. There was no communication about when workers would be on-site, or if the work was even getting done. We were told things were finished, but then we’d show up and see nothing had been done. On top of that, they left a huge mess with screws scattered all over the dirt outside the house. Today, someone was sent out to address the "dirt," but we were never contacted beforehand. I just happened to be home, and the guy did a quick walk-around and left without providing any further explanation. The entire process has been unprofessional and frustrating. I cannot recommend either Blackfoot or Palm Harbor.

We had Blackfoot as default contractors after buying our house. We got lucky and had Britney helping us through the process. The entire home set up process was incredibly difficult (not to the fault of Blackfoot) but Britney was the most helpful and attentive person that we dealt with throughout it all. She went above and beyond to make sure everything happened in a timely manner and that we knew exactly what was going on. Britney even gave us extremely helpful advice on dealing with other trades even when it wasn’t her job to do so. I am so grateful that we lucked out by having her as our contractor.

Before Blackfoot arrived, my house wiring was straight chaos. Flipping a light switch felt like spinning the wheel on Wheel of Fortune, except the prize was usually: “Congratulations, you won… NOTHING!” Some outlets worked on Tuesdays. Some worked only when the moon was full. Others just threw sparks like they were auditioning for America’s Got Talent. Basically, every time I plugged something in, I mentally prepared for my obituary to read, “He died doing what he loved — charging his phone.” Then Blackfoot showed up. Not nervous. Not confused. Not quoting “uhhh this looks bad.” Nah — they came in like seasoned ghost hunters for bad wiring. “Yep. This is a disaster.” “Don’t worry, we eat this kind of disaster for breakfast.” And eat it they did. • Wires? Straightened out like bad kids on the first day of military school. • Circuits? Organized like Tetris blocks. • Outlets? Clicking on with ZERO sparks like polite little gentlemen. Suddenly, lights were bright. Switches clicked cleanly. No more buzzing, no more roulette. Just electricity doing what electricity is supposed to do — EXIST, not FIGHT BACK. I’m convinced when they left, my entire house whispered, “Thank you… we can finally rest.” ⸻ Final Review: If your house wiring is acting possessed, don’t call Ghostbusters. Call Blackfoot Services. They don’t fix problems — they erase them. Bonus: I can now confidently turn on my microwave without alerting the fire department. Blackfoot = LEGENDS.
