Travis Electric

Travis Electric works out of Boerne, Texas as a straight electric crew that has handled local wiring and power issues since 1984. They focus on the full range of residential electrical needs that come up in this part of the Hill Country, where older homes mix with newer builds and the weather swings from brutal summer heat to sudden storms. Homeowners around here call them when circuits trip during peak AC use or when outlets stop working after a heavy rain. The crew sticks to repair and maintenance jobs that keep panels safe and lights steady without adding extra layers of talk or delay.

Electricians in Boerne deal with constant demand from high temperatures that push breakers and wiring harder than most places. Common calls involve replacing worn outlets in kitchens and garages, tracing shorts that kill ceiling fans, and checking main panels after lightning strikes knock out power to half the house. Travis Electric shows up to test voltage drops that make lights flicker, swap out old aluminum wiring in ranch-style homes, and add dedicated lines for new appliances or workshop tools. They also handle routine maintenance like tightening connections in attics where dust and heat wear things down fast. These jobs matter because a single loose neutral can shut down everything from the fridge to the well pump during the hottest weeks.

Feedback from the dozen reviews points to average marks across speed, quality of fixes, price quotes, and how clearly the crew explains what needs doing. Some jobs wrap up quicker than expected while others run into parts delays that stretch the timeline. Quality holds steady on basic repairs but varies when older homes throw surprises at the crew. Price comments stay mixed with some noting fair rates for straightforward work and others wanting tighter estimates up front. Communication gets credit for direct answers without extra steps.
