About

Gandy Electric Heating & Air works out of Borger, Texas handling both electrical and HVAC jobs across homes and small businesses. They carry the Texas electrical licenses along with air conditioning credentials that let them tackle wiring, panel work, and full heating or cooling installs. As a Carrier dealer since 1985 they stay busy with the kind of calls that come up when the panhandle heat spikes or an old system quits on a weekend. Local homeowners know the name because the crew handles emergency electrical fixes right alongside furnace and air conditioner replacements without dragging jobs out longer than needed.

Ronnie Gandy shows up for repairs on both main houses and rental properties, keeping pricing straight and finishing what he starts. One crew swapped a motor into an air conditioner the same morning a customer reported it dead after a 107 degree day, getting the unit running again inside two hours. Another job involved pulling a furnace and air conditioner from an attic where the old unit started breaking apart on removal, yet they completed the full replacement without shortcuts. Calls on a Monday often lead to new equipment running by Tuesday, and the team stays on site until every connection and airflow check meets their standard.

Customers keep coming back because the work moves fast, the prices stay reasonable, and the same technicians return for repeat calls on different properties. They notice the crew explains what broke and what it takes to fix it without pressure, then sticks around to make sure everything runs right before leaving. That combination of quick arrivals, solid repairs, and honest dealings adds up across the reviews. DIRT Score 3.56 from 13 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

Gandy Electric is very professional, quick and gets the job done correctly! Our ac quit working on a very hot evening. 107 was the high! I called the next morning and they were at our house an hour later and put a new motor in less than 2 hours! Pricing was very reasonable and they knew what they were doing. Very friendly and easy to talk with. Highly recommend them. Every time we have called them, they have been Johnny on the spot. Quick response time and do an excellent job!

I really can't say enough good things about Ronnie Gandy. He has worked with me on my home and my rental house over the years whenever I had HVAC repair needs. He's always been fair, has integrity, and operates with real ethics in the construction and contractor business that you rarely see in these current times. He completely replaced my air conditioner, furnace and ducting in my home 3 years ago, and he recently just finished the same work for my rental house this month. There were contractors out of Amarillo that were willing to do it slightly cheaper, but they just could not match Ronnie in service. So, I'm happy to support his business in my hometown. I highly recommend him for all your HVAC needs.

Replaced furnace and AC unit, and it was difficult job due to the furnace being in the attic and falling apart when they took it out. Very good to work with and they did a professional job. Ronnie will not leave the project till it's done right. Also knows, with decades of experience, what is the right unit(s) for your particular situation. No hard sell.

I highly recommend Gandy Electric! I called them on a Monday and they had my a/c replaced the following day! And very resonably priced. This is truely your home town company and I they will always have my business!

Very friendly and wonderful people. You can tell they really care about their customers and not looking to rip anyone off and do a good job. They will get my return business and I highly recommend
