He also said he didn't want to touch water valve because it usually breaks and he doesn't want to be responsible. He suggested that if I pay him directly, he would charge $120 per service. David called me the night before my scheduled installation to let me know he would be coming 6 hours earlier than what had been communicated previously—this was music to my ears because we’d been without a dishwasher for a week. His colleague Frank had been out the week before to haul away our old dishwasher but the new one from Costco was damaged so he ensured we would have hot water in our sink until we got a new dishwasher.
