“I had an excellent (10/5 stars!) experience with Gilmore Electric Express and especially Chayce. I called yesterday to request an appointment as a first-time customer and Liz scheduled an appointment for me for the very next day (less than 24 hours) and explained the service fee and their upfront pricing policy. I got text and email notifications, and even a live update on their truck’s arrival during the service window. Chayce arrived on time at the beginning of the service window and provided a thorough consultation on my issues and then ensured he quoted me an accurate amount while explaining exactly what that would entail. Chayce then checked for everything with an amazing attention to detail, going above and beyond to help me feel safe and secure in my home. He was also a real pleasure to talk to and I felt very comfortable having him in my home the entire time he was there. I had previously had a very poor experience with two other local companies and I was so anxious to try a third, but when he left I realized I felt a weight come off my shoulders that I didn’t know I had been carrying (relative to my home’s electrical work). I know I had expert service and expert knowledge, and it has left me feeling so much safer in my home. I also love that becoming a member with Gilmore also got me a discount on the overall price and is something that stays with me for a year (and is transferable to a future owner if I were to sell the home during that time frame). The fact they don’t auto-charge you annually is also a major green flag! I was absolutely satisfied with every aspect of my experience and I won’t be going anywhere else to have my electrical needs met while I live in the area. (Note: They are also the ONLY local entity that is Better Business Bureau approved with an A+ rating). I can’t recommend them any higher, and firmly believe they are the best in the Brazos Valley!”

“Extremely impressed with the speed and quality of service! Our home presented special challenges for their master electrician, but he made quick work of adding can lights and electrical outlets in our kids’ house. He went above and beyond, and left clear markings of studs for us, such that hanging our TV would be a breeze. Fantastic communication and quality, affordable pricing. Highly recommend!”

“Very courteous electrician. Explained things well. Company was able to schedule an appointment quickly to install an electrical outlet in the attic. Not sure about the prices as we've not needed any electrical work in many years. Not cheap but they back their work with a warranty and their service is readily available. Still have not received a call back from the other company we contacted. They do give a veteran discount which is helpful.”
