“Wasted 6 weeks of our time with meeting/text update delays on design and in person project discussion after signed contract with large down payment submitted. 6 weeks after contract signed and numerous meetings canceled or delayed, Manny visits to say he miscalculated the amount on signed contract by both of us and increased cost by $20k. In reply to our question about why did he keep us waiting for 6 weeks making it impossible to hire a new contractor , Manny defiantly retorts 'try to take me to court cause no judge will find in your favor.' We never mentioned suing him or taking him to court and he chose to reply with a threat! Our deposit was returned without any interest added back. There are too many contractors out there to waste your time and trust with MCI.”
