He originally came to help connect my doorbell and garage cameras to the CPI app, but he went above and beyond to make sure my entire security system was working properly. Samuel noticed issues with my door security sensor and smoke detector and took the time to replace and update them. He was professional, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about the safety of my home and family. He did not rush the appointment and made sure everything was connected, tested, and working correctly before he left. “We inherited this service from the previous home owners we bought our house from. The devises they use are crap and they rely on locking you into impossible to cancel contracts. The customer service makes you feel like you’re at the DMV. I thought a local company might be ok but after months of dealing with them to cancel and now dealing with the massive headache of removing their outdated made in China crap from my house (you have to hire your own electrician to do so) I’ve come to realize it’s 100x easier and more sophisticated to go with any of the other national brands. The tech they leave behind degrades and starts randomly alarming etc and won’t stop bothering you even after their service is turned off. Total scam. Much easier to go with simply safe.”

“I’ve had CPI since Jan 2025 and it’s been nothing short of a nightmare. I’ve had nothing but non stop issues since. I was locked out of my house thanks to the keyless entry. I was told i had to call a locksmith or pay for CPI to come out and get the door open. Even though their equipment was malfunctioning. Fast forward to this week. I had issues with my cloud where the clips after a camera was triggered wasn’t upload to the cloud to be viewed. I’ve been going back and forth the last 4 days with CPI, I’ve also had a tech come out. He replaced the cameras and that was it. They reps over the phone and not knowledgeable at all. They regurgitate the same information over and over. So finally I just decided to call alarm.com directly since they’re the actual security company. I wasn’t even on t”
