“These told me that my engine was blown and I would need to replace it for $4000. Then they offered to buy it for $500 and then reduced the offer to $300. When I said "no" they told me to take my car off their property. I took it to a reputable auto repair. There was nothing wrong with my engine. I needed to replace the radiator, which I did. The car runs fine and could probably sell for up to $5000.00 into today's used car market. Why did they tell me that my engine was blown and needed to be replaced when it was fine? Why did they tell me my car would not start when it would? Why did they want to buy it for $300. I'm a retired older women living on a budget. What do you think?”
